Lost the last ml parlay when the Raptors upset the Magic. Seems like they may be getting too much credit for that win (see what happened to the Magic vs the Bobcats the next nite). At least that is the only reason I can see for the very short spread and the slight movement of the line from -3 to -2?.
Bosh being out is critical to the Raptors game, even tho Bargnani did step up last game and tho he will likely be an all-star in this league in the future. Yes, Jefferson is out for the Nets, but that is not as difference-making as losing Bosh, and they still have Kidd and Vince. In fact, when Jefferson is out it seems that Vince steps out and becomes the big go-to guy for Kidd. I simply cannot see the Raptors taking this game, home court or not. In fact, Carter always plays hard thru the boos when he returns to Toronto, with all the signs the fans hold up and the dislike he faces for the way he left.
Fact is, even if Bosh were playing, I would likely take the Nets at this very low line. They should play very hard to hold onto 1st place in this very bad division.
Lots more could be said, stats and such, but this is the essence. And btw...Toronto cannot play defence and the Nets can. Gawd, how I hate those bloody Nets! I would love to lose tonite! :mj07:
