Anheuser-Busch (BUD) announced today that a full-market rollout of its new B(E) (meaning "beer with something extra") after the product enjoyed a rather successful test in 55 markets that started in October. B(E) is a beer infused with caffeine, ginseng, and guarana. :scared Don't turn your noses up in anticipation of the flavor of this concoction, according to the company's website this infusion is "well balanced with select hops and aromas of blackberry, raspberry and cherry" allowing the beverage to offer "a lightly sweet and tart taste." BUD is hoping that B(E) will compete against mixed drinks and the wide variety of adult beverages offered in drinking establishments. Analysts and investors remain unimpressed by the announcement, but that seems to be the reaction that the creator of bubbly beverages was hoping for, as BUD has inched forward on the day. According to a quote in a CBS MarketWatch article, a spokesperson for the company stated that BUD wants the beverage to "shine, not shout."

was in a bar last week and there were girls doing promotions for budweiser and handing them out for free.

its really a weird drink. you can distinctly taste both the beer and the 'energy drink' part of it.

its not bad, but im not sure if you can just throw those things back all night. after one or two i think the flavor gets to be too much.

Isn't that the concept behind the Drew Carey shows Buzz Beer? I guess the R&D deptarment doesn't get as much money as the marketing department.

I haven't had this, but Bud Select has Nashville as a test market. It is, by far, the best lower carb beer on the market. But I don't understand much of the low-carb stuff because most of them aren't that much less then Miller Lite.

Sounds like one could cut cocaine out of their diet totally and just start throwing these back at will.

I come across a lot of people that are firing down these energy drinks to get going every day. When they go without to long, they actually show signs of withdrawal. I like to call them....crack in a can.

The latest brand.......ROCK STAR :jump: :jump: :jump:
