Not eloquent with write-up/stats.....just think Belichek off of a bye vs Tuna will get this one handily....Granted, Dallas has good defense.....but look at circumstances on schedule.....starting with Jet game....No pennington....Arizona ....nuff said...Philadelphia...injury problems....Detroit...see Arizona comment...Tampa Bay....injuries..Washington....in total chaos (damn near lost that one) buffablows....concrete legged punchless Bledsoe offense........Now Dallas gets into meat of tuff schedule New England, Carolina, Miami, at Philly, at Wash, Giants and lastly Norleans.... the beauty of it is the public thinks Dallas is back.....

Think the line is about right.
A few considerations:

* Bailout game, fade the public...if the public is on the 'boys, NE should run away with this one...
* New England's offense has struggled running, IMO. The Cowboys front 4 are extremely fast, and disciplined, and New England will have to go the the air.
* Bellchick always seems to have some trick plays lined up for the big primetime games.
* Game should go over the posted toal of 35 by about 4 TDs.
* Agreed public might be pounding the doggie here. Still think the Cowboys are overrated, and I'll say that even if they win the superbowl.

I'll be there next Sunday, hope the Pat's blow them out and bring them back to earth.

Aldabra,

If I recall, I think it was the "Buffablows", as you so eloquently put it, that were involved in a "buffa-blowout" in week 1 versus the Patriots. What about the loss to the "chaotic" Redskins in week 4? I think I recall the Pats being in a field goal battle with the Browns, and just last week they sqeaked by the Broncos who were playing with a 2nd...I mean 3rd string journeyman QB. I guess I am playing the devil's advocate, but I would really love to hear some valid reasoning as to why you love the Pats so much this weekend.

Don't get me wrong, I think it should be a great game, but I don't see the Pats covering the 3+ in this one.

Good point Bama

However, I throw out first 3 weeks in my handicapping as teams have not jelled......this is a gut call.....who is not to say my "guts"
may be strewn over the countryside come next Sunday....?? Dallas has had a run over borderline and sh*t teams...I believe that run is coming to a quick halt. GLTA

Al,

I hear ya. I think it is going to be another case of "Win one for the Tuna!" for the 'Boys. Will they get a win...we'll have to wait and see. I must admit, their schedule has been pretty much a cake walk, but if they do pull this one out I think they should get a little more respect.

Puck hope you are wrong...

Puck hope you are wrong...

I should have bought the hook....it was up to 4 at both my other outs....just grabbed it. Hope it doesn't come into play....Belichek probably still stewing over the " Little Bill " comments when coaching for Tuna....I think they will be ready....if Dallas wins at NE they will have my respect. I tend to dislike Dallas because of all my die-hard cowboy fan friends and family members....that can cloud judgement. GLTA

was concerned that dallas has "the number one" defense in the NFL...With that schedule you would expect them to be #1...not much offense to compete with

This should be a great game. It will be even better if the Patsies blow them out. That being said I look for the Pats to cover at home.
