pats did what they had to do and tehy won easily. jags no running game, lefty looked terrible. garrad should have played ,regardless.

either way, pats secondary will be had again by colts. den loves to run ne has really dedicated to stopping the run - that would be a huge test of will. jake could have a huge day scrambling if hie head is not (you know where).

pats matched up well against jags def.imo denver hurt the jags early this year with a lot of the same passes.

my final thought is that "back breaker" was the pass to the te that should have been stopped short of the 1st down, then it became at TD......

really didn't matter as lefty couldn't move the ball anyway and fred taylor ran like a b*tch the entire game. puzzling as to why he was out there so long anyway.

i truly hope colts win it for many reasons, but all the respect for pats considering all they have gone thru, losing all sorts of great players and coaches ... they hardly suck, to even make playoffs, albeit pounding pansies for a while, is a testament to their HC and org. Would anyone be that shokced if they beat Colts? Not me;and i really hope they dont. Not their fault they held Jags to a FG. I think any coach would be thrilled with a 28-3 post season W.

Hey guys.....I really don't care who wins in the next New England game. What I don't understand is why so many people hate the Patriots.......they win and they do it with class, there isn't anyone on this teams that stands up and says, "Hey, look at me, I'm such a great football player !! This team plays just like a team should, as a unit......I for one will always stand up and cheer for a team like this. Win or lose, they do it with class.

Well said, except for the "I really don't care who wins in the next New England game" part. :)

I might have to say that the Broncos are the most overlooked 13-3 team in forever. The Broncos are 8-0 at home and Denver has always been a tough place to play esp. in the playoffs. I respect what the Patriots have done, but don't forget that the Broncos are a pretty good team this year too.

When they lose they will not credit their opponent, they will be ungracious losers, kinda like Shamrocks post.If you think theyare going all the way this year, covering every game Shammy you've not had your eyes open this year. They are swinging like rotten carrion, ready to be put out of their misery.

what edludes, you ignorant fool! Funny I watched the post game for several hours last night, Belicheck, Brady, Willie Mac, every person that took the podium complemented Jacksonville players and coaches. When have they been ungracious? Funny, last I knew they were the only team in sports that gets introduced as a single unit, no individuals. Team concept only. When did I say they would go all the way covering every game? Don't everemember saying anything even close to that. But for a team that set a NFL record for starting 45 different players this season, after losing several key players like Harrison, Brueschi, not to mention the coaches father just prior to a game, I think they held their own this season.

Supposedly they didn't play anyone second half this season and Jacksonville was going to destroy them. If branch & Watson held easy touchdown passes would have been 42-3. Jacksonville barely got a first down in the first half. Funny Las Vegas only opened them + 3 at Denver, essentially meaning even matchup. Evidently the experts don't think they are all that ripe yet.

Dayad,

I had NO money on the game.

I am just posting what I have observed.

I really don't think they are that good.

They have not beat a decent team the whole year, and until they can do that, I think they suck.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

If they go into Denver and win this week, then I will take my statement back.

By the way, Denver will be my largest play of the year so far.

I think they win by 10+

Denver 30-17

well your opinion "sucks". they've won 3 superbowl's in 4 years and i hate the pat's. but i admit they're an awesome team, have an amazing coach in bill b. and a classy team. they've been riddled with injuries and are a surprise to have made it to the playoffs and are on a roll recently. denver is having an amazing season and i think they'll win this week but don't see a big win by any means. im thinking something like denver 24-20. this should be an exciting game to watch

amen hoopsG...

Broncos win it this weekend in the best game of the weekend. Then they will lose to Indy or beat Pitt.
