New England (-3) over Colts
NE biggest loss of the off season was Ted Washington, but they added Keith Traylor to clog the middle. Also NE gets back Colvin at OLB, solid outside speed rusher. The Colts lose Bratzke (sp) and LB Washington, and didn't add anyone although Cato Jun LB (sp) should make plays but he is not Washington. This means NE's already good defense got somewhat better and Indy's not so good defense got worse (IMO).
On Offense there is no comparison Indy's big three are unbelievable, and the new pass interference rule will help Manning and Harrison out a lot. BUT NE adds Dillon to the offense, and Indy is not a run stopping team (Griffin in last years playoffs). So will they be able to stop Dillon on Thursday? IMO no, which will lead to a Balanced attack from NE or run and Pass. Dillon has more vision and field awareness than A. Smith and should prove to still have his all-pro ability. Both teams have solid kicking units.
The home crowd, a new rushing game, Brady's ability to throw and a overall strong defense should be enough. weather is looking like some rain, which again favors rushing over passing and defense over offense. Also looking at the over, because Indy will have to outscore NE.
