polls smolls, this will be close no matter who wins and that will not be decided until Nov. This two have many hands full of shit to throw at each other until then.

Looks like the tide has turned

The tide has turned?? The general election's still 2 months and 3 debates off. As soon as America's love hangover with Palin wears off, things will even out again. And as others here have already suggested, it doesn't really matter what the polls say anyway. In the end, the general election will once again come down to 3 or 4 battleground states and whoever walks away with the most electoral votes from those states will win.

Probably, but it is incredible that McCain could lead in any poll with the war, economy etc, and the press support of Obama and his speech and so on...after those conventions McCain has gained significant ground when EVERYONE would ahve expected him to lose ground overall.

I think the Palin pick, but moreso the abuse of her by the media and some Obama surrogates, has really backfired. NOBODY would have expected this - a week ago Obama was up 8-9 points - this would make for the biggest convention bump in history

YUPers I agree the only poll that matters is Nov 4th 12 am. We use to have a poll or two. Now it seems like we have 7 or 8. In fact the one they call the polls of polls that was out this evening still had Obama by 2. Thats why I call them BS. And one reason is. Till they start calling folks that have cell phones. Manly college age kids. The polls heavy with much older folks. Now days that a big differance for results. There Useless.

Agree with you here, dont think it is a secret that the democratic party is its own worst enemy when it comes to elections.

Exactly....it's like "excuse us while we nominate the one guy on our side that could possibly lose this election"...and they have now done it 3 times in a row. Obama may well win, but between he and Hillary he is the only one that could lose

Agree, I also think one reason at least in the last few elections that dems have hurt themselves is that the far left is further from the middle than the far right. I know there are moonbats on both sides but I stiil believe that true centrist/moderates err on the side of the far right as appossed to the far left.
