a lot of you guys aren't old enough to remember, but back in 1970 (my freshman year in college), the marshall football team was wiped out in a plane crash returning from a road game. the next year, miami came into huntington to play a herd team rebuilt from the ground up and ran it up on them badly, winning 66-6. the marshall coaching staff has been playing up this angle all week with the team, even showing them a documentary movie made some years ago about the rebirth of the team after the crash. i don't know why, but i just like this kinda stuff with college players, especially overlaid with the prime time national tv game, the conference race, the bowl scene, the heisman factor. i'm going to step out on that lonely limb with marshall +2- and the under 57 based on little but pure intangibles. gl
