OK so I think the networks are setting up a few shows to fail.
Putting brand new shows on Monday night is a borderline death sentence.
You got sports fans watching MNF.
You got women watching Dancing With The Stars so where are the viewers for the other shows going to come from??

Tonight was NBC debut of "The Event" and "The Chase".
CBS debuted "Mike and Molly" which did follow 2 And A Half Men which might help it then "Hawaii Five-O" followed that on CBS.

FOX debuted "Lone Star" which aired after "House" which might have helped a little as well.

The problem I have is getting into a show like "The Event" and then get burned by a premature cancellation which NBC LOVES TO DO!

I watched "Heroes" and while I admit it was really falling off, it would have been nice to have some kind of closure and don't get me started on "Journeyman".

I just can't see the ratings being all that great with MNF and DWTS on Mondays. I am glad they moved Big Bang to a new night but wish it would not have been on Thursday.

What to do, what to do???

Also it looks like a late night for me as I have yet to watch any since I am waiting on MNF to end.

Got all these to watch and this is just stuff that aired tonight. :scared

How I Met Your Mother
2 1/2 Men
Mike and Molly
Rules of engagement
Hawaii Five-O
The Event
The Chase
Lone Star
Weeds

9 shows from just 1 night.

Man I need to sell my tv's.

Gotta say out of all the new shows on Monday night, "Lone Star" is the one that stood out the most to me.
A con man living two lives with a dad pushing the issue all the while pulling a con on Jon Voight. :0074

Hope this show survives considering the night and time it falls on.

Ratings sucked balls for LS last night. And, I think you might watch too much tv. Indoor soccer season over or something?

No that is Mondays and Thursdays still.
Lots of free time on my hands after 10pm.
I have issues going to bed before 4:00am these days.

I think Lone Star got the least hype out of any of the 9 eastern shows.
The Event got plenty of ads.
While 2.5 Men and Dancing have loyal follows no matter what.

Sad thing is Lone Star was best of any of these shows.

Fox didn't hype it other than some spot ads during Sunday NFL.

Ya think? They pimped that show so much it made me sick of it before it even started. I didn't even realize last night was the first episode. I assumed it had been on for a few weeks considering the previews have been all over TV for months now.
