He's talking about that OT playoff game in Green Bay a few years ago. Seattle won the coin toss and Hasselbeck said 'we want the ball and we're going to score' to the ref. Field mic picked it up so of course he caught hell for it.
It's time for this city to grow some balls and force that fat POS out. 3rd and 10 he runs the ball up the middle. 4th and 9, needing a FG, he goes for it. This guy is not an NFL coach. Who does he think he is, Les Miles?

i am speechless right now, the play calling the entire 2nd half was the worst i have ever seen, especially in the final 2:00
Sad thing is that's par for the course with Holmgren. Nothing new there. He's brutal.

Down 11 with 2 minutes left / 3rd and 10 at about the Saints 20 / no timeouts left / FB plunge?!?!? / and then go for it??????????
I'd like to see Holmgren's press conf - that's about as bad as I've ever seen, esp the call on 3rd - much, much worse than when he called the FB plunge on 4th and 3 at his own 35
