New System

Trying out a new system (very simple)

1) bet against Detroit in every game
2) bet on the Yankees in every game
3) parlay the both

Not Betting them yet, just keeping track of them for a week to see what happens. So far;

4/30: up 1.645 units, (Yanks win and Detroit ppd because of rain)

Any thoughts or insight on this?

its gonna be a chalk-galore system. its gonna be very tough to turn a profit laying 200 every time out

I agree, but seeing as though Detroit is 3 and 23 or 24 and the Yankees are taring it up, I feel that it might work out, if both happen, the parlay will help alot, however if one loses a few nights in a row it will hurt a lot, I guess we will see.

no matter how poorly detroit is playing right now- theyre not going to continue playing at a .115 clip. theyre not a good team by any means, but its hard for teams in baseball to get too far below the .400 line or above the .600 line.

i have a scary feeling detroit may not even play .400 this season.

i mean wow, they had a 3 run lead in the second game of the doubleheader today....and they lost.

guess they weren't used to protecting a lead.

where are they gonna get THAT experience if they can't lead games and win them....?

i'm not saying the pitching's bad...but man, they're offense is something i've NEVER seen in the last like 15 years of following MLB.

don't they have any more prospects they can bring up to bat?

Keep this in the back of your head. Det will win at least a third of their games and NY will lose at least a third of their games. The par is the only way to go. Det was looking pretty good for a while yesterday. I had them in the second game and hated to see them give it away for the young pitcher. If you pick your spots, you should do good paring these two.
