u know what is funny with an asshole like him? He says gov't doesn't work. Now this is smashed and embed in his useless thick skull. The reason the Gov't "don't work" is because the shitbags this douchebag votes for, tries to make sure the gov't "don't work." Case in point in 2006. The post office was running just fine but for some reason these shitbags this jackass votes for, put a poison pill in a bill that made the post office fund retirees benefits 75 years in advance. No other corporation in our country is held to these standards. Now the post office is suffering because these shitbags this dickbag votes for, has tried to destroy it simply because it is a union. My brother in law is gonna take early retirement if Romney wins and if Obama wins he is gonna stay on the job. Now what does that tell ya about how the Gov't works? Here is a guy who is never late and never misses a day contemplating whether to stay or leave because of this cok sucking party who tries to destroy any type of Gov't run business unless, it is their all important military. Now of course that is where they think Gov't works.

Great Post. The Post Office example is tremendous and a real eye opener for anyone who actually cares to evaluate these things.

40-65k of income won't pay any more in taxes next year.

Dividends and capital gains taxes go up to 20 percent next year though, I know some of the guys here don't have any income from investments but I do...:sadwave:

Not what I read. Social Security payroll reduction expiring, and another set of Bush tax cuts expiring.
Maybe this is just a worse case scenario, and the Bush tax cuts will be extended another year or two.

It's not going to personally make or break me, but I'd be lying if I said losing a couple grand in 2013 wouldn't effect my life in a real way. Good job, but definitely Middle Class here. I'm not poor enough to qualify for any handouts (not that I'd want to) and I'm not wealthy enough to ignore shit like this.
