Gonna shorten up the posts cause I go over the entries real close (takes a lot of time) and try to checkem out also before posting which also takes some time.

Not much going on here during the weekdays; plenty going on in my place though. I'll post one race to start things off and IF there's any interest... I'll do my best to post the later races from now on.

Let's start it off with today's (Mon) LAST race :)

10 mins to post.

No. 1 @ the dbl. digit odds is one that you don't want let get away. Has a shot to win it and looks even better to get in the picture.

Good ole Philly is back

Good ole Philly is back

Thanks, HM.

Philly is looking like it's old self. Early speed holding pretty good, the connections (jock, trn, owners) that figure do what they're sposed to, GREAT ODDS and payoffs, AND some decent size fields.

DO SKIP RACES (only played the 7th with decent sized bets and got moidered, the 8th, nailed tri, and 10th, heavy duty betting all the way around, best bet of the day paid off big time)

Try, on paper.... when you REALLY like a horse and the odds are good... ... the accross the board play (IF you're gonna include that kinda play) should be 1,1,3x or 4x. That means the SHOW bet should be at least 3x the amount you put on the Win bet. My SIDE bet on this no. 1 hoss is some kinda good example of this method. Went MUCH heavier on this ACB jobbie and only $2 on the exotics, tries, which really paid off. Sheesh, that no. 1 sure as hell looked like a wiener coming out of the clubhouse turn and even till late stretch. Even getting second woulda really been a Philly LIBERTY BELL ringer alright. Still, school bell ringer waz plenty good enough.

Just sharing my thoughts, HM. Thanks for making use of that there keyboard :0074

Sure hope things stay like this for awhile.. a stretch like this can do wonders for the ole Bankaroo. Hope some of the luck goes your way as well. GREAT to get back (via the magic of modern technology) "home" to good ole broken down Philly with the 10 racing fans that actually went to the track today.

hahaha. Exactly. Sufferin' Downs opens in a couple week, can't wait to see the animals back at that place. What a damn shame.

Mo stuff

Mo stuff

Thanks for stopping in, Cig.

HM..
It sure is, HM.
You see pictures/old videos, before our time, with thousands of fans, all dressed up, REALLY enjoying themselves at the track. Greedy bastages ruined the sport... most tracks running ALL freakin year round (thems doing a number on baseball the same way, BTW. Don't know how long, no of games, the baseball season is up to now.).

Man, I remember, BEFORE OTB, me and a few buddies would look sooo much toward opening day at The Big A or Belmont. Spring was in the air, sunshine, great racing/excitment.

A track with tremendous history, Suffolk, barely surviving. I know exactly how ya feel. Wonder if Piermierini (spelt righ?) is coming back... she was the jock to always give an extra look at for me at Suf. There was a couple of other ones I can't remember right now.

I used to make trips to Calder, since I've been in FLA. It's about 2 hrs. Thought about making the runs again but I checked the entries a few times since they started their meet... FAGETABOUTIT. They might as well run ALL their races in S. America. Jockeys, Trainers, Owners whose name I could pronounce... all deserted the dang place. :(

DO ENJOY Suffolk, good buddy.
