Yesterday went 3-3 +1.4 units, my butt still hurts from that Boise reaming, but nailedmy bigger play on TCU.

I guess when the major bowls snub your for 2 years in a row...you get a little upset and make a statement.....Iowa State was blitzing and calling time outs to extend the game...so I say why not? (If you want to lose respect for a team...try any of these big name schools who pad the schedule with inferior competition and run up the score all game) just my opinion. :shrug:

I think your point has some holes in it, ISU had no timeouts left and if Boise would of taken the maximum amount of time and kneeled on 3rd down they could of run the clock out on 4th. They also had more than a TD lead so there was really no need to worry about a comeback with 30 seconds left. Wht they may have been snubbed in the past I highly doubt that by running the score up they left a favorable impression on many folks that are decision makers for bowls. Bottom line it was a classless act, a coach showing another coach up.

You are correct. I watched the game. Iowa State was out of time outs. But they had used two on that last drive prior to the long pass. So they were (earlier in the drive) trying to get the ball back. Anyway don't hate a team becuase they covered and you were on the wrong side...how many times have you needed a score and your team took a knee inside the 10? (I hate that....but it happens :shrug: )
