happy new year to all my old madjack friends, hope the new year brings nothing but winners.

started the bowl season well, but have been chopping along since with all the coin-flip outcomes of late. going to play most every lean and inclination today in the hope of ending the year with a bang. without further ado:

utah +2: playing the utes despite the masses fading the notorious lang. never have been much for fading others, besides even a blind hog occasionally finds an acorn. imo utah will have a significant edge with norm chow handling the playcalling today. chow is one of the finest offensive minds in college football, and is very familiar with al groh's defensive schemes from his days at nc state. will

virginia +3: cavs the most underrated team in the acc. grabbing the trey now as this line appears to be heading downward.

more in a bit.

chow is with the utes in el paso (see ie's thread)and is a well-traveled coach with a reputation for earning his pay to the last day. if you're thinking is he'll give less than his best in this situation i believe that opinion is unfounded. good luck with the tech play.

Same here. Like you, playing all leans today. On both of those already. GL today. I think you are an excellent capper.

the a&m line moves over the last 30 minutes have the feel of someone trying to manipulate the aggie line. does anyone else feel this way or am i just becoming a conspiracy theorist?

ucla/ill over 46-: way too many unknown variables to make a call on the side here, but since i'm looking for action on all games i'm going to take advantage of my status as a madjacker and play over with johnnyb. he's demonstrated over the years as good a feel for his bruins as a homer can give. i'll enjoy pulling with him today while he shares the experience with his son in san fran.

vandy -1-: rounding out today's card with the 'dores. don't see a rusty, fragile collaros, most likely a step slower, being able to lead the bearcats past a vanderbuilt team that made a credible showing against a meaty sec schedule, and playing in tennessee to boot.

that's the new year's eve card, gonna have to start drinking here shortly before a night on the town.

have the happiest of new years, and may all your parlays come in.

Nice call by Chow in OT, and he is one of the best.

Congrats on the win Steve, wishing you a Happy New Year! Good luck on the rest of your plays.
