Again another loss.Damn.Can't crack over .500 esp if you only make one play.

Seton Hall -6.5 over URI
Hall lost in the 1st round of the NIT's lyr when URI's Robinson hit a 3pt shot to win it.Hall was up by 17 and had the game in hand. Tough loss for Orr and his boys.
So today revenge is a big factor in the minds of the "Hall".But to even that out URI is playing a BE team and any A-10 team does get up for any a BE oppenent.
Both teams today are on a winning streak. And both are playing great.
URI is coming off a big home win over Vermont where they broke about 3 or 4 records in making 3's.Robinson hit 5-6 from the 3 and the team shot 13-18.
Baron has 6'2 gd Robinson playing inspiring b-ball.He'a avg 16 pts and 4 bds.Leads the team in 3's and assits. His other partners at the gd spot are Woodward and Hellenga. Also with wise,Mack,Brooks, and some role players like Momplaiser and Clark ,this team has more depth then anyone in the conf.Hazelton the UConn transfer is just feeling his oats.URI's only real weakness is frontcourt scoring. But with so many weapons and depth they can hide that against most teams.
But today they meet a formidable foe.
Hall has won 12 stright at home. This team has been playing together.Barrett is unreal. He alone can change the outcome in a game in 30 seconds. He's avg 17 pts 6 bds,5 apg's and shooting 45% from the 3.Then there are the gds-fds.All 6'5 and 6'6.Allen,Sweet,Toney-El and Morris off the bench.Whitney there 6'8 post player has missed 5 shots since coming back from academic purgatory.
you have 2 teams on a roll.I give the edge to the Hall today.URI plays great defense but I see Barrett breaking down URI's man/man.Baron might be forced to go with some zone which might be a good idea.
Baron has the edge coaching vs Orr.Orr should really put a lot of pressure on the 3 gd attack.Contest shots.Clark and Momplasier are 6'8 and 6'10 inside players that can't score.
But I see Hall leading by 6 or 7 pts with 2 minuts to go.Then it's Barrett time and Hall wins by 10.

Not sure if anyone has noticed but 2 nites ago I couldn't believe all the upsets or close games.
Houston beats LSU by 10
Mizzou-KC beats Kansas St 93-52
ORU beats Wichita St by 3[ I know they beat tulsa also]
Marshall beats UAB[ a 15 pt dog]
Ind-Pu-beats Pepperdine
Harvard beats San Jose St[one of my great picks]
American beats East Tenn
Boston U beats Michigan...by 1
and of course
Belmont upsetting Mizzou at Mizzou.
Belmont hitting 3's from all over.Al McGuire was looking down on that game.
Have been doing pretty bad myself. Know how Mizzou must feel.
But will rebound back, one by one.
Taking Florida,West Vir,,Georgia and big play on USC...in football
