North Texas -2 over UTSA ******
Two teams that are at the bottom on the conf....but NT who had lost 7 in a row and now have won 3 of last 4...ever since one of NT's top scorers quit in a locker room incident, Dickie Johnson has been on fire..he has had 26 and 27 pts in last 2 games....NT's pt gd Reese can actually penetrate and pass....and NT's coach who has had his head up his ass the past 3 years realizes that just maybe we should go to the hot Dickie. Combs inside is a nice rebounder and scorer...even the freshman Brown has benefited from Harris's departure...NT has won vs some soft teams but has played a much tougher schedule then UTSA..NT lost to SIU twice,Creighton,UTA and Northern Iowa...meanwhile UTSA has lost to some powerhouses like Utah Valley,TAM-CC,Texas Perm,Central Ark...they are 2-11 and give up 86 pts a game[347th}...other teams shoot almost 50% FG... NT gives up 78 pts a game ranking them in the 307's but have played a much tougher schedule..
NT does have some talent but its coach has very little respect among his players and fans....he is in his last year unless he turns it around....NT is one of the worst road teams and even worst ATS teams...they are 1-7 ats so far...but its a new year.....and the Mean Green start out with a road win in their 1st conference game...NT wins this by 7-10 pts.....
