The state senate reportedly just passed a resolution in regards to not performing your duty and being available for votes - now and in the future.

The IL senators will be found in contempt if not back in the senate by 4:00 today. If not, they will be in contempt and can be arrested.

WI law enforcement cannot arrest them in IL - but if they do come back to WI, now they can be forced to do their job (now that sounds funny, forced to do your job!)....

The good thing is, this will not be a policitical gimmick used by minority parties moving forward - which is good for all of us.

Another Maggot newsflash.

Where's the proof of the last dozen Maggot newsflashes?

Oh, they don't exist.

Hey dumb*ss - look at the milwaukee journal sentinel online - it's all over the front page.

Or are you too old, or just too dumb, to be able to do a google search?

On the course!
"Walker also said that he has been working through Fitzgerald to negotiate with the Democrats."

I hope they hand him his own fucking line:

"We have nothing to bargain with........"

How did they get a quorum?

Neither side will budge from their position... kinda like a poker game with both sides raising the pot - and sooner or later, the better hand will win. And, with 19 votes, the Republicans have a better hand.

I know you are thrilled with that, and either is my sis-in law. But at least for her, she has a better shot of keeping her job if the repair bill goes through than if it doesn't, and more workers need to be laid off.

Which is why that she, as a teacher and a union member, is rooting for Walker.

Sure glad this didn't happen to Abraham Lincoln when he escaped a locked capital building. Some on this board think this has never happened. It started way back in 1776.

The fines mean nothing, the fund to support these senators is growing quite large.

It may be.... but I think it is illegal for the senators to receive money to pay for the hotel rooms or their fines..... not sure though, but thought I heard so.

But I have a hunch that adhering to the law, or doing their jobs in WI, is a concern of any of the 14 democrats...

Except in a poker game......each guy has some cards.

Mags, stop. You're embarrassing yourself.

This resolution only shows how desperate Walker and his little band of leg-humping Republicans have become.

It means nothing.
