Next time I'm at McDonald's, I'm going to try and figure out what's in the McRib sandwich. Ribs shaped like spare ribs but without bones. WTF. And they just changed to all white meat nuggets. I thought that's what they were a long time ago but they must have been something else (processed chicken pieces with gelatin).

BTW, do you know what gelatin is made from?

Dead horses????...........i never understood why they got rid of that burger with the dough bread and like a ranch sauce or something...i can't remember the name of it........I work by the McDonalds HQ in Oak Brook, IL. I go there for lunch sometimes. you can buy pizza pockets there. Next thing you know they are gonna have jalapeno poppers and crap like that...

McRib...Pieces of pork pressed together to look like a rib.

McNuggets..Used to be a mixture of dark and white meat.

Sourdough bread burger... Sales were not there. That was the one where they had the ad that showed a kid looking all pissed off because he wanted an adult burger. Dumbest ad campaign of all time.

No, I dont know about these things because I flip the burgers.

My job is delivering the hamburger buns to the stores.:D

I went to a McDonalds one time that sold personal pizzas. I had to try one and it was pretty good. That was the last time I was risky with McDonalds. I don't eat the "fresh" salads, I won't try the 50 piece bucket of nuggets, and I won't eat the fish sandwiches. I even made one location quit the "all you can eat" hotcakes for $1.99. BTW, the "cooks" use what appear to be oversize caulking guns to apply ketchup or whatever sauce you ask for. :look:

Where do you get the buns from? Some friends and I once saw a McDonalds truck pull up in front a discount bakery. We thought they were delivering old bread but they were there for bread pickup.

We pick up the buns in Chicago. The same guy that owns the bakery owns the semis we drive also. Nothing else is made at the bakery. Just buns, bagels and muffins for Mcdonalds. If you live in IL,Wi.Mi (including the UP), or IA, the buns are made fresh every day and the stores get a delivery every other day. They are not on the trucks with the McDonalds pictures. Those drivers deliver everything else...meats,cheese,cups..etc. Different company altogether.

If you live in any other state the buns are delivered frozen. The discount bakery you saw the truck at could have been being used as a storage site.

And that everyone is your useless trivia fact for the day

:D :D

And judging by that bakery, my friends no why I try to limit my trips to McDonalds. Besides, I haven't seen an employee flip a burger on a grill in over 3 years. I don't call them "burger-flippers", I call them "button-pushers".
