Thanks Dice

The more and more I think about it, I really like Mich in this position.

I see what you are saying about Breaston. I can't wait until Mich plays OSU this year - should be another classic.

Even though I already put myself out on a limb by saying that Mich will win by +20 points, I also think they will score on special teams or defense.

Good luck!

Dice34 nailed it. Michigan too many times plays down to their competition. If they truly are more talented or supposed to win by 20+, they will play down to ND level. In addition to that, HC Carr seems to play not to lose. I hate that type of coaching. If you are betting on a team who often plays down to their competition and often plays not to lose, 7pts is a lot to ask for them to cover. ND first win of season is a hell of a lot more impressive than Michigans.

Wac Attack thanks for the heads up. That is prob. enough for me not to make it an official play. Still might throw little $$ on it for fun. Which I like to do.

Spalding you can say that again. :)

WAC ATTACK said:
Hawaii lost 2 of there 4 captains on Sat loss due to knee injurys. Leanord Peters who is the fastest player and free safty and Jason Ferguson who is the slotback and retruner. This confirms my game of the year even more. I will post a seperate trend to exlpain my thoughts. Waitng for this game since last year.

I jumped on Air Force -5.5 on Sunday night (now it is up to 7 or 7.5 in places) - just cannot see SDSU staying within a TD of them if they let UCLA blow them out. Air Force was not sharp ay Washington, but did get it together in the 2nd half and I expect a better effort at home this week.

Other plays include Ohio State (everyone seems to be on the Longhorn bandwagon) so I'll play contrarian in the Horshoe with the better defense and bet the Buckeyes on a small play.

Also like Michigan as I think ND playing two in a row on the road will not play well in the Big House and I bought the ? point to play Michigan at -6.5

Also played Virginia Tech -10.5 in the first half - I think this VT team is much better focussed than ones in the past and they will jump on Duke who could not handle ECU last week.

Georgia -9.5 1st Half - Georgia will jump on So.Car. the same way they did Boise

ND/Mich Under 59 - Michigan defense is better than people think; sure they gave up 200 yards on the ground last week, but NIU is a good running team and they had 70 yard run in that number. I think 51-54 points is the right number here as neither offense is a quick strike offense.

on the other games discussed:
I lean to Hawaii and the points as 32 points is a lot to lay against a team who played USC to a 21-3 first half - I'll take my chances with a tired Hawaii team catching almost 5 TD's against a middle of the road Big 10 team
!
those are my early looks
