Where it is real F ing COLD
Packers @ Chicago -1

Can't believe the low score last week in Detroit, both defenses played better than I thought they would. Packers gave Detroit 9 points via coughing up the football and a gift safety but Detroit dominated the play for the most part only giving up 223 yards of offense to the Pack. When you talk about gift points, the Bears received a few last night after a terrible performance by Geno Smith and some suspect officiating but those are the breaks, Onto this week.

This is a difficult game to cap and I definitely could not wager on a line under a fg, this game could go either way but I am predicting the Packers and I am definitely going to take them on a 10 point teaser. Jay Cutler historically lays eggs against the Pack or it's either the Pack play him extremely well, I think Cutler has trouble with Capers blitzing schemes in the 3 - 4 defense. I can't remember the last time the Packers have lost in Chicago and right now Brandon Marshall is a shell of himself and I still don't trust that offensive line. Forte should be the focal point for the Bears in this one.

The reason I am picking the Packers is because I think the Bears defense is one of the worst in football. They have played against 3 terrible passing QBs and won't have the luxury of gift INT's in this one. This game the defensive backs will have to defend quality wide receivers. The Packers need to open up that play book and go right after the Bears through the air. Quit trying to be a ball controlled offense, let your pass set up your run. Speaking of run, Lacy looks a little slow to me but that's just me. I think the Packers can score at will. Also, look for Peppers to make a big play in this game and Cutler to make a big mistake. I like the Packers to stop the Bears more than the Bears can stop them, I guess that's all I had to say.

Packers 31 - 27

Watch it be 16 - 13

Atlanta - 3 and Minnesota

Say what, 3 point favorite? I was expecting the line to be 5 - 6. The Falcons have sure looked like world beaters at home plus they get extra rest coming in. Meanwhile the Vikes will be going with TEDDY (this is good) after a frustrating game against the Saints.

The Falcons look good on both sides of the ball but I do see their defense as not as good as people think. Tampa maybe that bad. I don't know a whole lot about the Falcons other than their High powered offense. Here is the keys to the game, it's going to start with the Vikings offensive line, they can't run the ball and the QB has been a sitting duck. Trust me if Teddy gets time he is going to complete passes. On the other side of the ball, the Vikings defense has been very good, their offense has hung them out to dry the past 2 games.

I am going to study this one up a little bit, if the Vikings O Line can push them around, then I like the Vikes chances, but I am not so sure that can happen. I am definitely leaning the Falcons in this one but that line is really messing with my head plus the Vikings are usually good as home dogs.

Detroit @ NY Jets Pick em

Man these are tough, I would take Detroit just because of Geno Smith but talk about Jeckyll and Hide, that's the Detroit Lions. They are still making costly turnover and dumb penalties. They have the best talent in the NFC North but the biggest dummies on the field. Vikings lead that category off the field, . Plus the Lions are never a team to trust on the road but on paper they are superior to the Jets in just about every category but I could see the Jets D keeping them in it and if the Lions make that big mistake the game could be taken away.

Do you guys see a low scoring game? I think this might be a low scorer.

I got the Lions 23 - 16

If you want a good pick I would go with SOUTHPHILLYSHARK. I think he has a really good pick with the Niners, I think they rough up the Eagles a little bit

packer/bears line is ridiculous. I can't believe green bay is favored. they've played one half of decent football in three games.

I agree with you on this one. Many feel they "wont go 1-3." Green Bay and Aaron Rodgers are the public darling. They have been the public DOG twice this year and got smacked both times. They began as a public dog but have quickly moved to a public favorite with 64% of the action on them. Can't wait for Sunday, I'm hoping the Bears bury them.

My brother in law is a die hard Packer Backer, he gets so upset very quickly. He was still talking Super Bowl the other day. Another one of the people comparing the similarities of this years team to those of the past few years. I asked him if he thought Lacy was looking like he lost a step, he barked at me, "Lacy is going to be a top 5 back by the time the season ends!"

Now you see what I have to deal with. :mj07:

I'm still picking the Packers despite the line change but I think I am going to really think hard about going OVER the total, but I suck at totals but how does this game stay under? Bears hammer it with Forte and get good Pash rush?Allen generally does good against the Packers and the they do have problems at left tackle. Packers offense should get cooking in this one though.

Over is a nice play. Still looking at it myself

Bears secondary is beat up so Green Bay is going to want to come out throwing. Only problem there is GB's O line is beat up and finally Allen will get a chance to line up and go straight at the QB and not worry about zone read. Willie Young is going to push Rodgers to his left. Ratliff will push the guard or center right up the middle on Rodgers (which he hates) he's going to have to roll to his left towards Allen.

If Matthews is out as well that can only help the Bears, they can scheme against Peppers. They know all of his weaknesses. If they don't then they are complete dopes. I am hoping Marshall will be good to go same with Jeffery. So watch the injury reports.

Believe me I know how you feel with your brother inlaw. I deal with Puker fan every day. On the plus side for them Lacy having a terrible season right now is only good for his career. No way that guy is going to have a long career based on how he was running last year. Have some really terrible years and live off of his rookie year, he could be in the league a long time like Anthony Thomas was for the Bears

How coe u don't hate on Shitcago or Detroit like GB??? Maybe cus GB has dominated all 3 teams for the most part and has more SB than all 3 combined...More divisional titles.....LOVE seeing a couple of u hate on GB...Makes me feel good......Ur team is so bad u have to hate on GB so bad instead of concentrating on your own team...How sweet it is..:mj07:

Because it is..That's so obvious.....If my team never won anything ever i'm sure i would be as well.....I mean ur team has zero SB and wears purple..That's gotta suck.

I hate on GB because they are the rival between me and my buddies cause of the border. I hated on em just as much in the late 70s and 80s when they sucked so for me jealousy is out of the picture.

I rip them because they are the team I post write ups about and if I go against them then I have to give reasons why. Wren I have a thread about then being down, I give reasons why. You guys say it's ripping but it's been accurate just like when I picked them before the season to win Super Bowl the year they did, just like when I had write ups of them winning every playoff game that year including the superbowl and just like I wrote them up to snags my Vikes in wildcard game. It may not be flattering but when it comes to picking ice been accurate a lot.

Now if I could get the rest of the teams.
