theres one playoff spot left among 5 teams so which team just needs to win and there in.

Example: Giants win and there in.

Or is the picture too muddy where every team needs to win and they also need help. What i want to know is there one team where if they win they are in?

So I think the short answer is no, there isn't any team with a straight win and they are in scenerio, but the Giants have the inside track and need the least help. Once it gets to 4 way tiebreakers I'm not sure who's got an advantage -- and I'm not sure how to determine just yet the strength of victory tiebreaker they are talking about between NYG and GB. Guess that hinges on every team they've beaten all year and how they fair in week 17 (have to think if GB beats the Bears they'd get a big boost)

What a mess -- the NFC 6th seed is going to be one of the worst playoff teams I can remember, regardless of who backs into the spot.
