Strength on strength matchup today with the Redskins pass D going against Favre, who really does look like he recently stepped out of the fountain of youth - looking for a lot of running today, and think the Pack will be able to contain the Skins to a certain degree - don't be fooled by the 34 points Wash threw up against the Lions

Hit the big one but gave almost all of it back on the others - find it hard to believe all 3 lost considering both the Phins and Raiders were inside the # in the 4th and the Jets had 2nd and 1 at the Eagles 4 yard line down 7 with four minutes left

For Monday night:


Line is getting ridiculous - should be 3.5/4 at most - ATL hasn't lost by more than 7 since week 1 and have faced far stiffer competition than they will tonight - too much being made of injuries to OL imo - I know from Gandy's time in NO that he was a locker room cancer and I'm not sure he will be missed that much - injury to Weiner maybe more serious but think the Falcons' staff will take a page out of the Jets' playbook and copy some of the schemes that were successful for most of the game lw - ATL's strength of schedule ranks tougher imo and they have held up well in most of their games - Gmen down much of lw against the Jets before pulling away late

Look, what I'm trying to say is that the Gmen are not world beaters - Umenyiora is obviously a stud but I think multiple people will be blocking him tonight - and Strahan has all of 1 sack this year after sitting out training camp - also, D Hall may be an a-hole, but he is a damn good lock down corner and is the type that thrives in big-game environments - finally, a bit of a lull in Gmen schedule off of 5 big games in a row (Dal, GB, Wash, Phil and the in-state rival Jets) including pretty big W's in the last 3

Won't be too long before some 6's are out there and maybe more - BD already at 5.5 -115 so you can get a full TD there at -135 right this second, and I fully expect to get better before kick, but will use that for posting purposes - think there is a good chance that The Dirty Birds get the outright tonight

Simply put a bad call on ATL - they certainly had MANY chances to get the thing done (Crumpler drop was huge IMO, ended game for all practical purposes) but to play a game that large with the ?'s surrounding the QB position, etc. was a poor decision, sorry if anyone followed
