Anything on the radar for this week Old School?

This could be a scary week. A lot of "sure thing" winners.

These always make me nervous. There will be a lot of teasers out there that lose this week. We just have to figure out how to avoid them.

Thanks.

You ain't just kidding, pal. Plenty of opportunities and cliffs to walk off. I suggest picking 3 or 4 in the -10 range and making one big play -10 or even -13 on those huge favs. Ignore the rest.

BTW...this does NOT include bleedingpurple's TOY with NE (-2.5) / Minny (+10.5). It may win, but not the "surefire" we are looking for.

MAYBE START WITH CLEMSON -8 ON fRIDAY? QB OR NO QB STARTING...

Thanks Old School, appreciate it.

My gut is telling the best 2 games out of all the heavy favorites are Atlanta and Denver. Atlanta has some injury concerns at wr, but I still think they can at least get the win straight up. Denver is more of a play against the depleted Giants. Just can't see them functioning with all of the injuries and being in Mile High.

Pats - don't trust their D at all and Jets will be playing their Super Bowl this Sunday.

Skins - Always an inconsistent team and 49ers are starving for that first win.

Texans - SHOULD be okay here, but a lot of injuries on the defense now.

Thanks for the time Old School!

filling one slot with

ATL.+2..lotta time to prepare..at home off a loss ...where they got the short end of the stick from the refs and a tip ball int...plus..lets not make Miami something they are not..they stink...gave up 20 to Jets and 20 to N.O.>>>>>>>>>>>>well this Matt Ryan and the Falcons...healthier and pissed off ain't dropping 2 straight at home..especially off a bye playing a team that is averaging 10 points a game on offense...

Fish got 16 at home vs Titans[are they stinkin' up the joint] and their backup QB..6 of those 16 fumble recovery for a TD..

local papers have Julio ready to go...Falcons get a W ..

side note...Falcons did not score in the first quarter vs Bills ...they had score in the first quarter in the first three games of the year...

comfortable here...take the 2...this could even turn into what Philly put on AZ ...maybe.:0002

don't know how Giants can move the ball..no running game and now no recivers worth a hoot..Denver D will give the O plenty of touches ...

I'm going to break down TB at Phx....TB in my eyes is under performing ...with good reason..their QB has no touch on the ball and their backs can't catch a cold out of the backfield...AZ sucks ..Palmer sucks...AP coming to w/his old ass ...they are catching +2 AT HOME we tack on the 13 to +15....takes 2 unanswered 2 TD's and [2] 2 point conversions to lose that leg..

I don't like AZ in anything anymore but I gotta look at this because TB ain't much..

that opening win against a sad Bears team and nothing as far as I'm concerned..

did nothing til the 4th quarter..punted 6 times vs poor Pats D in the first 3 quarters.

more to come.........oh.......I don't know...

breaking rule #1..don't ask a bad team to do good things...

Old School, thanks for the thoughts.

I definitely like Atlanta and Denver. They are locked in for me.

Funny you mentioned KC +8.5. I actually like Pitt +17.5 instead. Both sides should hit on this one, but I just have a funny feeling that Pitt wins this one outright. KC has to lose at some point. An angry Pitt team with the whole world against them can do it.

I don't think I can bring myself to take AZ. It might work, but they just stink.

How about Detroit +18.5? Another dog I think wins outright.

Vikings +16? Maybe.

Raiders +whatever? As long as Carr plays, that looks great to me.

Ravens +6? Yes please. Can't see them losing to the Bears in Balty, especially with all of those injuries the Bears have right now.

Looking at some more....

Thanks Old School.

WEEK #7

WEEK #7

teasers
3-4 {-3.90] units

13 point teaser

4 units to win 3.2 LOSS

LONDON

AZ/RAMS...

I look for a shootout here...Ariz has a running game again and we saw last week what it does for Palmer in the pocket..Lets hope that continues cuzzzzzzzz that is what these 2 legs of the teaser are based on.

ARIZ +16 LOSS..PALMER GETS HIS ARM BROKE

ARIZ/RAMS OVER 32

BUFFALO +10

Tampa comes to Buffalo with a beat up QB back to back road games while Buff comes off a bye..Tack on the 10 spot at home with the great crowd vs a team I see falling apart.

JAXX +10

JAXX comes to Colts...Colt QB trying his heart out..but he is in for some D pressure Sunday...Expect Bortles to have some success vs Colts secondary...because everybody does...Jaxx running game should produce even against stiff Colts front ..23 from Jaxx tack on the 10 and the number should be outside Colts reach..

GLTA...........

may still put Minn. in something but trying to keep my money away from my heart..

+7' looks mighty good vs Flacco

Good luck this week Old School.

I still haven't decided on mine.

Possibilities include Bills, Dolphins, Bears, Browns, Packers, Vikes, Steelers.

Thinking now....
