I lost my Best Bet last week because the Saints committed too many turnovers last week to come out on top.
As for this week...One Play - very small.

2 Game 7 Point Teaser
New England Patriots -1 over Ravens
&
New York Giants +8 over 49ers
Patriots -1...The Patriots lost to the Ravens in NE 33-14 in the 2010 Playoffs, but got revenge last season with a 23-20 home win and are 4-1 SU versus the Ravens with Tom Brady at QB...add to that the fact that the Pats are a perfect 9-0 at home this season while the Ravens were just 4-4 on the road losing to the Titans by 13, the Jaguars by 5, the Seahawks by 5, and the Chargers by 20!...The Ravens also have a distraction to deal with since Ed Reed called out Joe Flacco to improve his play during a radio interview this week...This game won't be a blowout by any means and the Ravens have a good shot at winning this game IF and only IF they get Ray Rice 25+ touches in the game, so teasing the Ravens +15 is also an option I considered ...However, at the end of the day, I'll put my money on Tom Brady playing at home with way more offensive weapons at his disposal in the passing game over a Ravens team that has struggled on the road...the Patriots are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 vs the AFC, and 16-7 ATS in their last 23 games as a home favorite of 3.5-10.0....The Ravens are 5-1-1 ATS vs a team with a winning record and 11-5-1 ATS in their last 17 games following a ATS loss, but just 1-3-2 ATS in their last 6 meetings in New England and 5-11 ATS in their last 16 games in January...The Home team is 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings between the two teams.
New England 24 Baltimore 20
Giants +8...The Giants are on a roll having disposed of the Packers last week, but they face a Niners team that's tough at home after beating the Saints by winning the turnover battle once again...I believe this game will be decided in the fourth quarter with the Giants having the edge since their passing game should be able to exploit a poor Niners secondary...however, the weather is calling for rain during the game which could mean the game will be played on a sloppy field...both teams have some terrific trends pointing their way...The Giants are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 playoff games, 7-0 ATS in their last 7 playoff road games, 6-0 ATS vs. a team with a winning record, 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games as an underdog, 5-1 ATS in their last 6 vs the NFC and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games overall...The 49ers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 home games vs a team with a winning road record, 9-0 ATS in their last 9 games as a home favorite, 12-2 ATS in their last 14 games as a favorite and 5-1 ATS vs a team with a winning record...The Home team is 5-2 ATS in the last 7 meetings between the two, but the Giants are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings with the 49ers...Close!
