Since 1990?double-digit favorites in the divisional playoff round are 9-7-1 ATS and 12-5 straight up?10 of the 17 games featuring double-digit favorites also went over the posted total.
Tough card this week but it?s all about finding a way to win and the teaser that I put together gives me the best chance to win.
Small 1 Unit Play:
2 game 7 point teaser
Carolina Panthers -3 over Cardinals
&
Baltimore Ravens +10 over Titans
Panthers -3?The Panthers are both healthy and well rested coming into this game?on the flips side the Cardinals have one key injury that will hinder their chances this weekend?WR Anquan Boldin is Questionable with a hamstring injury and admitted this week that he won?t be near 100% if he?s even able to go for the Cards?the Cards were able to run the ball last week which took pressure off of Kurt Warner to carry the team?but the Cards were at home and had a favorable matchup last week against a Falcons team that made the playoffs but may have been one of the worst playoff teams to make the tournament in quite some time?this week they are overmatched in all phases of the game?the Panthers are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 playoff games, 9-2-1 ATS in their last 12 games as a favorite, 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games as a favorite of 3.5-10.0, 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 home games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall?the much better team advances to the Championship round next week.
Carolina 27 Arizona 17
Ravens +10? The Titans earned home field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs but are banged up at 3 key positions?C Kevin Mawae won?t play on Saturday and that?s a huge blow for the Titans since Mawae calls all of the pre-snap reads for the team and his replacement Leroy Harris is an inexperienced two year player with just one previous start for the team?that won't bode well against a pretty good Ravens defense...I expect Ravens DT Haloti Ngata to have a dominant game on Saturday?also DT Albert Haynesworth and DE Kyle Vandenbosch will be less than 100%...the Ravens have won five of the last seven games against the Titans and 4 of the last 5 between these two teams have been decided by 3 points or less?the Ravens are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 meetings in Tennessee and the Underdog is 13-4 ATS in their last 17 meetings between these two?All in all?the Ravens roll into Tennessee with momentum so I expect another down to the wire finish?flip a coin for the winner of this one!
Tennessee 17 Baltimore 16
