I'm sure everyoe is aware of the NFL confssion now that their officals have yet struck again, this time screwing up a playoff game. I wrote a thread last week about the officiating in the Philly Giants game. Seems they really gaffed this time. Although this screw up didn't factor in the cover, Giants would have covered anyway. What about New York fans? They very likely got screwed out of the fantastic ride I enjoyed as New England fan last season.

You know what's so amazng about NFL Football? Nobody knows the ****ing rules, most notably the officials. The rules are so ambiguous & complicated nobody can possibly understand all of thEm. Obviously the officials don't understande them, but they are not alone. We all heard Jimmy Johnson, Terr Bradshaw, Chris Collingsworth & all the other qualified experts described how the holder should have spiked the ball, therefore giving the Giants another opportunity, since it was 3rd down. WRONG, NOT IN THE RULE, LoL LoL. Not only do the offiials not kno the rules, announcers don't, anlysts dont, nobody .

I remember a couple years back, I was at a game between New England & Miami. 30 minutes after the completion of the game, both teams were made to come back on the field for 1 last play. It looked so ridiculous, players half dressed, many in towels & no shoes, one of the ridiculous things I have ever seen in sports. But at least the NFL got it correct. this "apology" brings the NFL to a whole new level of embarrassment. What a joke.

Consider this, theoetically the NFL has now admitted that #69 was a reported eligible receiver, therefore the pass inteference along with the ineligible man penalty offset. A game can' t end on a dfensive, or a offsetting penalty scenario. It can however end on a offensve penalty.
What if, despite the obvious San Francisco interference, that Giant linemen was able to catch that touchdown pass, game ends & Giants win correct?....or at least NewYork gets another field goal attempt??? Wrong, game ends San Francisco wins
     no woner nobody undersands the ****ing rules
