The NFL announced Sunday night that the AFC North showdown between the Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers will be the NBC primetime game for Week 17.

The league leaves the primetime spot open for Week 17 and makes their decision for the game when most of the Week 16 slate has been complete in order to schedule the best game.

The winner of the game will win the North. Pittsburgh has already clinched a playoff spot, while the Bengals can still play themselves out of the postseason with consecutive losses. Cincinnati, which currently leads the division, plays the Denver Broncos on Monday night.

So. Cal
Kind of a strange move....could be a game with two teams already in the playoffs

Car - atl would have been best choice
Sd - kc would have been better option as well

You are always spot on.

Living hour from steeler stadium....i see all the games

Id say at at least 50% of the venue's across the nation the steelers are equally represented in regards to fans in the stadium seats.....the other 50% of stadiums, well steeler fans, they are still there a plenty.

Ratings are #1.

HELL
I think what will add to this is there is a good chance Cincy will be playing for the their playoff lives next week too, should they lose to Denver tonight. They may be out. So its win against Pitt potentially and get the division or maybe be out of playoffs all together.
