People expect the players to play flawless or else they are on the take. It's a sport, with big guys after ya, you need concentration, people think Big Ben was on the take first half? Was stafford then on the take second half. When these guys screw up and look pist and dejected it's all for show right. These guys could make more money acting in movies,

It is not that I believe refs are on the take.it is that this game is no fun to watch anymore. I hold my breath on any big hit just waiting for a flag for some bullshit penalty.

The flag in the niners game was crazy. Pass rushers are going full speed to get past a 300 lb lineman. When they get to qb, the hit is going to be hard. The hit wasn't to brees knees or head, it was just too hard? I'm fucking confused.

How can any better in this day and age, put serious money on a game with confidence? Game neutering rules and absolute mind numbing B.S. calls.
At the end of the day, you have to hope you are on the right side of the calls.
I have been a fan for many years and now can hardly watch a pro game anymore without disgust.

Save yourself all the grief and watch the last 3 minutes. It's just like the f**king NBA keep all the sides up in the air for ratings tilthe very end.

Nothing irks me more than when a non-football play (something that had no effect on the play) costs a team a game. The rules suck and, in the refs' defense, are impossible to officiate.

Goodell is a joke. The league has definitely become less watchable under him.

Its been unwatchable to me for years now for all the reasons in this thread and then some.
3 and a half hours for 15 minutes of action? And every ad is for the latest POS new TV show or some horrible swill from the major brewers-not that I watch the ads-- then toss in the morons trying to call the games--I either watch with the sound off or have music on--and its a painful, painful experience trying to make it through a game these days.
If I couldn't gamble on it, I wouldn't watch the few minutes that I do now. I haven't seen 5 minutes of a MNF game this season and even less of the Sunday and Thursday night games.
