Just some random thoughts and pointing out the obvious.

Just to point out, Marvin Harrison is having an absolutely stellar year. He already has 118 catches, and I think the NFL record is about 122. He's 20 catches ahead of the guy in second and 25 ahead of TO. Can't overlook what he's done for this team.

PITT hasn't beat anybody this year. OK, IND, at home, but IND was slumping. Cowher really hasn't done anything for this team.

SF hasn't beat anybody. OK, OAK, but that was the middle of OAK's losing streak.

Both those teams bow out early in the playoffs. They've both lost multiple times at home, and have had trouble with the kicking game. That kills you in the postseason.

NO might be the sleeping giant in the NFC. Two losses to ATL, but two wins against TB, one against GB. The loss to DET got everybody off them, but that's a good team. Defensive problems, though. Won't make SB, but could pull a road upset in the PO's (maybe at SF).

All NFC playoff teams have beaten and been beaten by each other. Most interesting playoffs in years. PHI might be the best.

NE is quietly getting it going. Brady has looked really sharp lately. They have home games remaining against NYJ and MIA and a road game at TENN. They could win that division. If they lose one of those games, though, they could be 9-7 and on the bubble. After some early season collapses, they've had some nice defensive efforts.

Week 17 has MIA @ NE. I think the loser might stay home.

KC has games remaining at DEN and OAK. This exciting squad probably won't be in the postseason.

The best football show on TV is Edge NFL with Ron Jaworski and Merril Hoge, hosted by Suzy Kolber. They argue without the buffoonery, and the whole show is centered around watching game tape. If you really want to learn something about how the game is played, this is the ONLY show to watch. Just football. No stupid stories. And she's just cuter than a phuckin button, too.

Brady looks like a pro. Everyone jumped on NE for getting rid of bledsoe for him, but it looks like it was the right choice. He looks like a veteran and he'll be around for a while. Give me the Big 10 guy over the Pac 10 guy any day.

Not only is priest holmes ledaing the league in rushing yards and TDs, he has 68 catches. Crap. 2100 yards from scrimmage. He has my vote for MVP but won't get it if the Chiefs don't make the playoffs.

That's it.

Some interesting points that seem to make a lot of sense. Thanks for sharing them.

Good luck the rest of the season.
