token nfl play from me, but i guess i really like this one.

atlanta falcons under 48

* although it was way back in week two, atlanta really showed an ability to run the ball on the rams defense. i dont think there will be a ton of quick strikes. i think the scoring from atlanta will be on some methodical drives

* falcons defense has been pretty solid at home this year. theyve allowed more than 21 points just once (to carolina a few weeks back...that was a weird game...panthers were doing nothing, then scored 21 in the 4th)

* only 2 of atlanta's 8 home games this year played over a total of 48.

* purely a subjective opinion (then again, they all are, lol) but i think atlanta is going to be conservative out of the gate in their first home playoff game. i dont think the falcs want to get into a game where both teams are throwing the ball all over the place, because that only favors the rams.

probably just gonna watch the other 3 games with no action.

betting the new england/indianapolis game is basically as pointless as betting the north carolina/wake forest game on saturday. can you really go wrong with either team? just flip a coin and your odds are the same in both games. both road teams are playing out of their minds right now and scoring tons of pts, but both home teams are equally as solid and dominant on their own field/floor. you cant convince me that one team is truly the right side in either game. i know its a cross-sport comparison, but feel theyre both awesome games to watch but impossible games to bet.

lean a little to the jets, but almost get the feeling that this will be one of those games where pittsburgh dominates....covers....but new york will always be one score away from sneaking inside the number. something like a 21-10 game all throughout the 2nd half where the steelers are controlling the game and not in jeopardy of losing, but one good drive by the jets will sneak them inside the 9 points. saw someone post the steelers points allowed at home over the last few games and theyre amazing.

fully planned on playing minnesota this week. might stil do it. and im a huge randy moss fan... but his shit is getting old. enough to make me think that if philly scores a TD or two early that minnesota will revert back to being the minnesota of the last month and a half. i loved them last saturday, and once they scored first, all the pressure was off them and they were playing loose. but i dont know if i want to trust minny if they have to play from behind. theyre fully capable of winning this game outright. but this off the field stuff is getting annoying. alls good between teammates when things are going well and youre winning in green bay. will all be good between teammates if philly is up 20-7 at halftime? i dont know. probably mindfuc.king myself again as i like minny but just not sure.

enjoy the games fellas. atlanta under will probably be enough for me.

Good read GMan2. I like Your Atl. under and I`m playing Atl. to cover also.I can`t believe two 8-8 teams will face each other in the NFC final. (St. Louis and Minny). Just no way I can buy that. They may cover though, but I`m betting against that happening.

Good luck gang.

Thanks for getting me to look closer at this one as I think you are dead on the money. All of it adds up real nice and I agree with you. I think this looks like a 24-14 game at the most.

Atlanta under 48 110/100

GMan, i absolutely agree on what you said about the Vikings... a big Viking rube here, Moss fan big time, bleeed purple... If MN falls behind they have no chance in my opinion...They ride the adrenaline and if they get aheaad, I fully believe they can win this game, it will be a challenge, but the first quarter will be the telling point the game either being close or Philly running away with it...So im playing that ML, and the points for sure, and will stick with my super bowl pick in the Colts...i respect you insight, your very knowledgeable...Goodluck this weekend!!!!
:moon: for all you Moss fans.....gotta love him

Unfortunatley one of those games was at home to St. Louis 34-17, another strange game.

Atlanta can score on this Rams D and I'd be surprised if the Rams cannot score more than 17 this time around. I'm afraid I'm going to try and hit the over for this one.
