NFL Preseason Week #2....

finished week #1 going 3-3....

1st play this week....

minn-3(120)....

got this at -3.5 (-105) & bought .5 point to get the line down to -3.....think this line will go up..

imagine that the vikes will play favre a few series just to get him acclimated with the plays, which is supposed to be similar to what he ran with the pack...also imagine him playing with the 1st stringers so i expect that the 1st team will play more than normal....& now because of favre playing, sage & jackson will be playing against kc's 2nd & 3rd teams & should be able to move the ball effectively....minny's lines on both sides of the ball are also stronger than the chiefs....& think we will see a motivated team on friday...

however....i may also try for a middle on the game...

i just read that favre will play a few series....& that sage rosenfels has missed the last 4 days of practice with an ankle problem & may not play....

this confuses the qb rotation imo & since i was betting that sage would play against the kc 2nd team (i am also not a fan of jackson), i thought it would be best for me to cancel the viking bet...in addition there are numerous systems for this game that are favorable to kc & against the vikes .....

this is my play in the kc / minn game...

kc +4(125)....

1st play for the week....

under 37(120) cin / ne....

read that brady did a lot of individual work in practice with the wide receivers & didn't get a lot of reps with the offense, which may indicate that he won't play much against cin....

also seems that the pats starters did what they wanted to do in their opener & i look for belichick to spend more time in this game evaluating 2nd and 3rd string players given that they didn?t perform as well against philly......

opponents have fared the best against the pats over the last 3 seasons by going right at the defense with a power running attack from the outset, which imo plays into what cin. has been trying to do this preseason....play power football. their defensive personnel is better than rated & with carson not playing the offense might try to establish its ?let?s get more physical? goal for the season against many new linebackers & defensive backs on the pats....

hit the under on the cin/ ne game...coming back with another under for friday....

under 37 (130) atl / rams....

for preseason games, both teams played high scoring games last week....those scores can't sit very well for either coach & since both are former defensive coordinators i think we will see tighter defenses by both teams in this game....

bulger is out for the rams in this game so we should see kyle boller starting for them....think he may struggle in the beginning of the game because he is still learning the west coast offense....his backups are null & berlin....

the only thing that scares me about this bet is the length of time ryan will be playing for atlanta....but listening to atlanta's hc smith, it seems that he will be playing backups very early to evaluate his younger guys against the rams 1st & 2nd teams....

here's a quote from smith....?anytime we go out & play we want to win, but the main goal is for us to be healthy, be ready for the first game & do some evaluating,? head coach mike smith said thursday.....?there will be a different rotation as far as guys who will be playing & who they will be playing against.?....one thing fans can expect to see is more youngsters on the falcons offense & defense playing earlier in the game.....this according to smith, gives coaches the chance to evaluate second & third-teamers against the rams top-liners.".....quarterbacking behind ryan are redman & shockley...

hit my under play last night in the atl/rams game....also hit 1 of the sides in the minn/kc game...but lost a cfl play, which will be my last....

today i am making 3 small plays....sorry unable to do writeups....
