Write ups...


I do not do any write-up since the 2006 season, that was the last season I had my service running because my wife was pregnant and I have to take care of a lot of different things in life, including the wedding (LOL), so I will try to do it as I used, do not push me!!

Basically all the people leaves of last week result and do not take care of history and real game plans, just look at the score, the playmakers and make a decision; and going into the second week is really really tough to not see it that way.


NYJetS +3.5

If you look at the numbers of New England last week you just can think that they had a bad night and the Bills were lucky to have a shot in the game, but the reality is that Brady looked out of sync, he didnt connect with his WRs the way he can do it, at the end he just went to the more reliable kind of play a QB can have, a HUGE target in the middle of a lot of medium height guys, that means a TE in the secondary.

The Patriots couldnt run the ball, even looked like Bellichick didnt know how to run or with who, they rely to much on brady, lets dont forget that the Bills defense do not rush the QB is a constant in the last years and this years is the same, Brady was just with no rythm and they rescue a win without and established running game (they always do it big), without a big play form the WRs or Backfield and with a lot of problems because they could put out of the field their big ass players on the Defense, they won because they tried, never gave up and just take advantange of McK play.

In the other hand you have a team that established the run, play hard defense, where on the road and can win this game, In Mangini era you couldnt beleive this, because Mangini looked out coached all the time in almost all the games, their QBs where to static and Defense corps where dirty and tough, but also lame giving big plays in the other side.

The Jets will establish the running game, hurry Brady and try to make New England one dimensional again, even with a rookie QB they can win and do not expect a lot from him with field position control and running game, thats the way Coach Ryan will try to play, and I am depositing my faith, mind and money into it.

Tampa and the OVER!

Offensively Buffalo werent that good, they didnt put TO into the mix and could do too much, just the neccesary against a tired and overwelmed Patriots team, they can play defense, but they will miss two key players on the pass rush, they usually do not get into the other teams QBs so Leftwitch stone style will be affected a little bit less. Tampa has to be worried about two things: establish again the running game and do not permit big plays (like they did against Dallas).

Bucs offense looked good, really good balance, I am expecting at least 24 points from Tampa Bay and some TO and company love in the other hand, a close game with buffalo winning at the end or Tampa bay putting the back door cover at the end. Why I also like the back door? because if the Bills came lucky again, Leftwich has always been a fighter of lost causes since Marshall, so he will push the team and will try to get something better, but I really think Tampa can win and finished all the expeculation of the First week with a 1 point game against the mighty Patriots "and they had the game but McKelvin let it go", against "an easy blow out from the Cowboys" but with a lot of yardage and just big plays in the middle of difference.

Green Bay PACKERS.

I have to say that this line looks pretty crazy at the first sight, that why I liked since the start and just made a case for this game.

Why looked crazy to me, because I think the Bears, specially Cuttle give the game away, I do not think Green Bay took it away and second the Bengals went into the history because that lucky catch by stockley is the biggest in the history of the NFL in the 4th Q to win a game, hehe.

Cincinnati just cant run, they are missing and will miss their position Receiver (T.J. Houshmandzadeh) in all the 3rd down of the season because they just have Chad 85 and Laverneus Coles, Henry may fit better but not like TJ, so they are in big trouble in situation when you need some position catches, not elusive or speedy guys; even when I think Carson Palmer is a great QB he has been out too much time to expect him to be n sync with everybody, the defense is suspect as usual and GB has a really defined game plan, runner, QB, receivers and the crowd to put Cincinnnati out of the game nice and easy, I expect a Blow Out, but a 10 points difference will be enough to me, and I can see Green bay dominating both sides of the field with some 3 and out from the Cincy offense and tired defenders coming into play receiving some rushing game and play action driving them crazy.

Minny-Detroit UNDER


Plain and simple, Favre is happy with this game plan, what game plan? well, run run and run, and then run and throw some balls when the offense is not ready to receive a flying ball, Favre has to be one of the most happy persons in the world, he came back from his re re re retirement to just step in the middle and try to chill out and do not carry a team in his shoulders for the first time in his LONG career, he has to be happy. We have to remember, Cleveland is a crazy team trying to score and all that things, Minny has a lot of crazy stuff going on but they are a running team.

Detroit HAVE to establish some run, not all the teams are the Saints that make you beleive you are a good team because you score, Stafford is not an eminence and will not have a camp day against this Minny defense, and if they do not put the rushers in the game mor often, they will be trying to protect Stafford from an injury, so they better run, and kill some clock, they have to try to win the game, even if that is with a field position and ball control, killing the clock and trying to score more than the other.

And at the end, if you like the overs you will love this one, because both teams went crazy and they can score more than this easily, yeah right, as a contrarian I can tell you that that is not going to happen, I am not nostradamus, but I have some experience.

Seahawks

They are back, after one year off with hasselback problems and some other issues they are back to fight for this division.

The niners played to not lose against the Cardinals and they won because they have the number of them, the difference is that singlentary just make a bad decision last season, but why remember that, also they played against a injured comming QB with a WRs crew mentally and physically troubled and with no running game at all, hehe.

In the other hand Seattle played against Saint Louis, thats it, I will not say more, just that is always good to leave a team in 0.

I will always play a team like the seahawks comming from and easy win taking just 1 point in somebody elses house comming from a big win against last year Super Bowl contender. The niners have to work on their run, and thats since last year, Frank Gore is a stud, but they have problems because they have not had a QB in all this time, and still have some problems, in the other hand the seahawks are well defined and tuned up to play and contend for this division right now, there is not tomorrow for them and this is a big game in the week two to make an statement, and they will do it, My money is on that!

Steelers and OVER

I feel such a square going with the packers and the steelers, but give me some credit, I am against the mighty Patriots and the new Mighty Bills

Chicago defense is not the Tennessee titans defense, even worse, they will be without urlacher, the maginificent pass-rush middle linebacker and only good and consisten thing to beleive in the Bears in the last years.

Cutler has to have a rebound in scoring meanings, but the running game of the steelers will dictate the tempo of this game, they had problems against the titants and the Bears will pay for it big.

I expect at least 28 points from the Steelers and the rest is comming from the big EGO Cutler, the guy that just said was better than Elway and get kicked out of town, hehe, he is good, but not that good, and I have to say that I have never been an Elways fan, hehe.
