baltimore ravens (+6)
baltimore ravens moneyline (+190)
kinda scares me that gardenweasel doesnt have a whole lot of confidence in the purple and black. for better or worse, i do. not at all trying to diminish what the steelers have done, but theyve looked mortal the last few weeks. their last dominant effort was against cleveland. since then, theyve had average efforts vs. washington, jacksonville, nyjets, and nygiants. ben's been a little careless with the ball the last two weeks (4 INTs) and the ravens D can swing a game on defense. also, bettis hasnt done shit against baltimore in his career. part of the reason why pitt has been so good is because their run game has just allowed roethlisberger to manage the game. as good as ben is, the more pass attempts he has, the better the ravens chances are imo.
houston texans (+7.5)
houston texans moneyline (+270)
just not sold on the jags to take care of their business against a live dog. one thing ive always respected about houston is that -- are you listening browns? -- they never quit and they play hard every single week. they give their bettors their money's worth. jacksonville simply doesnt score enough to justify a TD+ chalk. carr had a great game against this defense 2 months ago, and texans have a realistic shot at 8-8 if they sneak one out here as the clowns come to texas next week.
