juiced out last week. shoulda been 5/7 winning nfl weeks. but vinny testaverde --> :banghead:

  • (big) miami dolphins (+6.5) over st.louis rams
  • (monday) cincinnati bengals (+7) over denver broncos
  • both lines from betcom. theyre dealing a nice dog line on tennessee (+7) too but cant trust the titans right now

dolphins stand a good chance to win that game outright. actually both teams above do, but think miami actually pulls it off.

  • browns/eagles under 41

just cant see the browns allowing themselves to get into a shoot-out with the high-powered eagles. very likely cleveland is going to look to establish suggs/green early and try to keep the gameplan conservative. browns should probably be 3 under/ 0 over at home this season. last weeks bengals 1h was sort of fluky. a bengals fumble return for a TD, a 99-yd browns TD pass, and a browns fumble inside their own 15. if not for those miscues, game could have been 24-7 or something like that. clowns defense has been really solid at home. right now, cleveland is a complete fade on the road and a 'play on' at home. their home/road splits are ridiculous this year. browns defense allowing 8.3 ppg at home and 26.6 on the road. i dont have enough nuts to play 'on' the browns here, because the eagles are pretty damn solid. but i do feel very confident davis puts together a game plan that allows the clowns to keep it close, mainly by being conservative and establishing the run.

won some money at 1pm, but talk about having two plays at opposite ends of the spectrum. two no-doubters, lol. thankfully played miami for a good chunk more.

at 4pm:

(big) arizona cardinals (+7.5) (betcom)

seattle laying road chalk after two huge games (and two tough losses). not buying the 'rebound' theory or that 'they'll take their frustration out on the cards'. zona always a live dog at home, and seattle (imo) is simply not as good as many think.

emmitt smith to the rescue for the 2nd half cover. seriously wrote that one off and had a W next to the game bet, but a fat L next to the 2nd half bet. ends up being a huge day. 3-1 and nailed the big ones. thanks emmitt. youre not washed up in my eyes.  oh - and thanks to hasselbeck for being terrible.
