39-23 +$3,513 for the season

Hola dudes, I spent the better part of three hours in the book last night doing my NFL homework with my headphones in my ears and every sheet readily available from said sports book in front of me.

There are not a lot of straight spreads that I like this week and once again I have chosen to stick with mostly teasers solely based on the fact that I love the extra seven point cushions for the cases in which Vegas does not honor the RLM system! That, and I have been doing very well betting teasers as opposed to straight spreads recently.

One of the biggest games that definitely caught my attention is the ATL/PHI game. The line opened at PHI -1 and has climbed to PHI -3 despite 63% of the weight being on ATL. This line is obviously set based on Andy Reid's innate ability to come out of the bye week so flawlessly year after year. In my opinion, this is the year that his streak comes to a very abrupt end. Vegas tells me that Philly is the play here. However, there are two teams in the National Football League that I refuse to put my trust in. The two teams are the Chargers and the Eagles. I truly believe that Atlanta will smoke Philly.

The second game that I focused on is the MIA/NYJ game. Full disclosure: I am a freakishly huge Dolphins fan and I very rarely bet for or against my boys. But being a 'Phins fan in the AFC East you can guess that the Jets are the team that I absolutely despise and hate the most. This is a PERFECT spot to bet against the Jets and this game provides true value. The Jets miraculously played the Texans and the Patriots tight the last two contests' they've been in. Now they're playing the Dolphins in NY and they're only laying 2 points. The fish will make mince meat of the Jets and all of us Dolphins fans will slide into a tie for first place in the AFC East.

Third up is the CAR/CHI game. Chicago has beaten their opponents by an average of 20.8 points this season and they have allowed a very low average of only 11 points/game in those wins. Chicago's defense has been outperforming most offenses. Enter Cam Newton and the 1-5 Panthers. Let's face it, they're horrible. They're horrible for obvious reasons that I can list on paper. Obvious reason number one is the fact that Off-Coor Rob Chudzinski is an idiot and he hasn't established the run game to take pressure off of Cam and open up holes in the secondary while their opposing defenses stack the box. This isn't the game that the Panthers are likely to find that something that clicks. On paper, at least! Line opened at CHI -9, 60% on CHI, and the line now sits at 7 and a hook. In all honesty it seems like this line should be double digits in CHI's favor when you take into consideration how poorly Cam is playing right now.

Fourth is the WASH/PITT game. No write-up or analysis here from me. One word, three syllables...RGThree. Oh, and two more words, four more syllables...Alfred Morris. I don't care about numbers in this game, Skins win.

My plays:

Washington ML +175 - $100/$175

Two team 7 point teaser - New England PK and San Francisco PK - $390/$300

Two team 7 point teaser - Atlanta +10 and Washington +11 - $130/$100

Two team 7 point teaser - NE/STL under 54.5 and ATL/PHI under 50 - $390/$300

Two team 7 point teaser - Miami +9 and Carolina +16.5 - $130/$100

Two team 7 point teaser - Tennessee +3.5 and Cleveland +10 - $130/$100

Two team 7 point teaser - New Orleans +13 and San Francisco PK - $130/$100

As always, let's get it! :0074

Thanks buddy! Surprisingly we look better this year than we've looked over the last five seasons. We're 3-3 this season but two of our losses came in OT because Carpenter couldn't close the game for us. I know 'if's' don't count in the National Football League but 'if' we won those two OT games we would be 5-1! That would be ridiculously awesome! We're underrated this season.

I should've made it more clear in my CAR/CHI mini write-up. My point was that the clear play is Chicago and everything points to them blowing through Carolina but with 60% on CHI and the line dropping from -9 to -7, Carolina is the play today. Not confident on the Panthers as a team but the line movement alone makes me confident on the Panthers as a bet.

Gottcha. I think they are underated too. I really have a feeling about Cle today to. I think this is a huge game for them and I think their D keeps them in the game. I really like Weeden. If they can get their ground game going SD will be in trouble. SD can be zero'd in on..

No doubt. I like Cleveland today as well but I don't trust SD or PHI so I teased Cleveland to getting double digit points.

Get it, buddy!
