10-2 + 15.6 Units last week :mj06:
:spotting:
Had a great week last Sunday on my first posting of this NFL season, managed to hit MNF HT for 3 Units no Denver to pull closer to even on HT plays also, so ended up over 10 Units to the good overall. I played alot of home favs last week and nearly all won and covered, but going a different route this week. I feel the linesmakers may have over-compersated and given too much credit to the teams playing at home this week. With that said, here's what I'm playing.
ALL PLAYS 6.5 PT TEASERS - DOUBLE PLAYS
TBAY +11 & TENN +17
DAL OVER 37 & STL OVER 38
DET +8 & N.O. +9.5
CAR + 9.5 & TENN +17
STL OVER 38 & ATL Under 48
As you can see, I have played two games twice, TENN and STL OVER which I feel are the two strongest. I was considering putting those two together for a 3 Unit play, but last week I lost one of my stronger plays for my only two losses, so I'm not gonna push it.
The BUCS are at home against the BENGALS and I think we finally see a great game from Tampa. The BUCS have good speed on DEF and should be able to get enough pressure on PALMER to slow down the CINCY OFF.
TENN played a great game last week in INDY and had a chance to win that game and now travel to WASH and are DOUBLE DOGS??? Come on.... the REDSKINS will be lucky to score 20 today, so I can get one score out of the TITANS, I can't lose right??
HOU and DAL should be a closer game than most think, but just in case TO has a break out game and BLEDSOE throws to the right jersey this week, I can see this game becoming a COWBOYS blowout. CARR will get his team to the endzone a few times so I feel the OVER is the way to go here.
DET at home getting more than a TD against a weak BUF offense. I know the LIONS have a few prominent offensive players banged up, but I think this one stays close throughout with the LIONS winning late on a HANSEN 49 yarder.
STL is at home, and although MARTZ is gone, they are still good on offense. NOT as up and down the field as before, but with ALEXANDER out for SEA, the SEAHAWKS should rely a lot more on the pass today which should get us to the 40 mark in points at least.
ATL relies on the run and the GMEN are playing good DEF and a good ball control type offense. This game should not be a shootout, but a slugfest. I see this game ending around 20-17.
SAINTS at home still getting no respect versus the EAGLES without STALLWORTH and a banged up WESTBROOK. I know the SAINTS got lucky to win last week, but they did win right??? PHILA is playing well, but I don't see them going to LA and beating up on the SAINTS today. PHILLY wins by 3 at the most.
BALT is still a defensive dominant team and with McNair, they have a competent offense. BUT, they have been winning game late in close battles and going against a struggling PANTHERS team, I see a real big battle today. Thsi game should come down to the final possesion and whoever has the ball wins it.
I'll have a few more plays later for the games going on in the afternoon.
Good luck!! :SIB
