Folks, we're a mere week and a half away from getting things started with some Pre-season NFL action.

This will be my thread for the year. I will post picks each week in this thread and appreciate any feedback, insight or constructive criticism from any of you.

Last year was good for me on the Pigskin side of things. Unfortunately, I threw a lot of my winnings away during the basketball season, something I've stayed away from for the two previous years. At any rate, here's the Goal for the 2012 NFL Season.

70% Winners for the Season.

I'll keep a weekly track of the win/loss rate and cross the fingers that we reach our 70% Goal.

I've had the pleasure of visiting this site and following many of your plays, so if I have a play that you strongly disagree with, I'd really appreciate your view on why you disagree. After all, I've won a lot of cash following guys like Addict, Stock, RIQ, Thunder and many others.

Not a bad pick. I favor the 49'ers at 10-1 myself, though the value isnt super high....all that speed and those playmakers on offense, topnotch special teams, great young coach, defense which is violent and aggressive and features NFL's best pass rush returns all 11 starters.......if they somehow can find a way to steal one in Lambeau in Week One, they are off and running:00hour

Very good point. I think Ray Rice will need to get to Top 1400 yards for Baltimore to do it. I Think he can.

I know it's preseason, but if Ken Whisenhunt doesn't realize that Skelton gives them a better chance to win than Kevin Kolb, then Cardinal fans can count on a 4-12 Season. With Skelton, they might win 7-8.

It wasn't terrible, but the finish made it feel worse than it was.

I'm telling you BP, I hate the Ravens, but that Defense is going to win them a lot of games!

1) The Texans may have the most QB Depth in all of Football.

2) Jimmy Clausen may be the worst draft pick in the history of the Carolina Panthers!
