Hello boys and gals.
Been around Madjacks for 3 months looking and taking from the great cappers around this site. Finally decided with the NFL that I will come onboard and post my picks and hopefully help out. Nfl for me was great last year but I hope this year will be better.

Play from 1-3 units per game depending on the game. 1 unit is $100 for me but definately play with real money and take my homework pretty seriously.
Opinions and feedback always appreciated.

YTD 0-0 (+ 0.00 Unit)

Carolina -4 (3 Unit) - Jacksonville in my opinion is going to be one of the worst teams this year. Of course losing Smith at wide receiver because of a suspension will hurt their long game but they didn't add anything special on the offseason. Carolina on the otherhand was 2nd overall in defense last year and still added some other opinions. Love Davis at running back for Carolina because of their ball control attitude. Jacksonville will have to protect against the run but Davis will rush for over 90 yards for the win and the cover.

San Fran 49ers -7 (2 unit) - First off, I am not an 49er fan. Like Garcia and their running game but as for the team as a whole not a much of a fan. 49ers will start at home this year vs Da Bears who have lost a major part of their run-stop defense. They added Mr. Interception as their QB in Kordell Stewart. He is definately better than what they had in Miller but still nothing special. 49ers will Run-run-throw vs Da bears till they try harder to stop the run. At that point Owens will get involved and show people why he is one of the better complete wideouts in the NFL. Only thing that bugs me here is a late TD by the bears. 49ers are nitorious for letting up late when they get a big lead but I think with Mariucci gone as head coach this will hopefully be a think of the past.

Miami -14 (1 Unit) - The fish are back and what a way to start vs the Texans. Not much of a challenge here. I love the Fish and they are my team. I took them everytime at home last year and they made me the $$$. Ricky is back in full form. The fish added another QB which will not be needed in this game. Defense has been slightly upgraded with Jr. Seau & company. Don't see any letting up here but since it is the first game of the season, I will start with 1 unit play. The Texans continue where they ended with getting sacked and sacked hard. Taylor will get the most sacks in this game but as a team they should be able to get to 5 total sacks. Miami will roll and with Ricky the Texans will never have a chance with the clock running.

Thats it for now. Looking at Under in the 49er game (40 1/2) and like Buffalo vs NE but I think I will wait till game 2 to take them. All the hype for Minnesota going into Green Bay is great. Minnesota looks to upset and kill Farve but like the over much better. Will add if I find some value..

GL to everyone. Lots of great people here so lets go out and take the bookie for a ride this weekend.

Adding

Buffalo vs NE Under 45.5 (1 Unit) - When these two teams play, the score is generally close and under. Don't see anything changing here but going small and going with my gut. I Don't like when I see 'gut' plays but I read a trend yesterday saying these games normally stay under the total at Ralph Wilson Stadium but don't have th number to bac it.

Da Bears Vs 49ers Under 40.5 (1 Unit) - Don't like either team but the Bears have Mr. Turnover himself in Kordel. Also don't see 49ers scoring more than 3 TDs but... if they do, Da bears will go no where.

3 hours to kickoff!! :D
GL to all!!

Monday Night

Monday Night

YTD 2-3 (-2.50 Units)

Big disappointment in Carolina but I should have remembered that they have Rodney Pete as their QB. The backup Dellhomme came in the 2nd half and really impressed me. Not that Jacksonville is anything to be happy about but at least they got the win and I continue to two 2 in my suicide pool.

Monday Nights Game

Going with the Champs!
Tampa +3 (2 Unit) - This line is really a joke. Reading peoples posts about revenge is definately something to look at but Philly will get it handed to them again as they did the last 3 years. Tampa is ready to play and they have a determined coach who knows how to get his team fired up. If Tampa knew they were underdogs they would be upset :D

Tampa will take this game. It will be close but dont see Philly if they do manage to win cover the spread.
