Am taking the week off, but played the Monday night game.

Pats +3 (-120) x3

While I expect the Saints to play fairly well offensively, this is the strongest test of the season for this banged up Saints D.

Check out the QBs they have faced this season..... 3 rookies (Sanchez, Freeman and Stafford in his 1st career start), Trent Edwards, Delhomme, Henne, Bulger. They also faced Philly with Kolb at QB.

I see no way that Saints stop Brady and the Pats offense. The CB position is injured up and down the depth chart. Top 4 CBs are injured (2 out for sure, while Gay and Greer are up in the air). A hobbled Greer vs. Welker or Moss spells doom imo. McCallister and McKenzie have been signed in the past 10 days. The Saints have sound, yet slowish LBs and safeties. Not the kind of D that you want against the Pats imo. Sharper may be the most overrated player in the NFL. Not that he isn't a good football player, but he has shown a lack of speed and has also taken himself out of plays by taking poor angles. Since Ellis went down, teams are gashing the Saints on the ground.

I like NE to win this game, although I will obviously be rooting the other way.

Good luck:weed:

Cie, Happy T-Day to you and yours Sir.

I leaned to the Saints. However, I also had a thought later that in this game, N.E. has a little bit of extra motivatiion.
The Patriots can take matters into their own hands and keep the Saints from going undeafeated. I'm sure N.E. would like to remain the ONLY team to go undeafeated.
GL this week.

Thanks gents.

Despite taking the weekend off, I capped the games this morning.

I would likely be on these sides were I to play:

Den +6.5 I have it at NYG -2, so a TD looks nice @ home on Turkey day
Oak +14 While everyone waits for Dall O to wake up, I'll side with the solid Oak D (especially is Seymour goes) and rejunenated O behind Gradkowski.
Buff +3 Mia may let down playing 4th of last 5 on the road and Buff has the ass-whippin from earlier this season for motivation

& maybe even these:

Hou +3.5 Motivated Hou has revenge in mind.
StL +3 Sea playing 3rd straight roadie. This being thanksgiving week makes it that much tougher for them imo.

GL what ever plays you choose......

Happy Thanksgiving:toast:
