2-2 for my plays in week #1 but the Lions really cost me because I could have been driving a Bentley :mj07: today if they had shown up to play.



I saw this line and almost flipped this morning...needless to say I pounded it hard.

My first BIG GUN Play of the season:

New Orleans Saints +1 over Washington
I believe the wrong team is favored in this one ...the Redskins are coming off a
big loss to the Giants and have had a few extra days to prepare...what you see is what you get with the Redskins ...Jason Campbell has had 7 different offensive coordinators in 7 years and he's a very poor fit for the west coast offense that he's in...the Saints defense is much improved and will give Campbell and Co. fits all day long...on the flip side...the Redskins defense will be NO Match for a Saints offense that has too many weapons and will exploit a Redskins secondary that's shaky at best...Redskins coach Jim Zorn is a work in
progress...I believe the wrong team is favored in this one...Hit it ASAP before the line moves because the Saints will be favored in this one before the week is out.

Bills +11.5?The Jaguars offensive line is really banged up and will be playing 3 backups in the middle of their line this week against a Bills defense that has former Jaguar DT Marcus Stroud coming into town to prove a point to his former team?the Jaguars will find it difficult to effectively run the ball against the Bills which puts the ball in the hands of QB David Garrard who threw 3 picks last week?the Bills offense should welcome back OT Jason Peters this week but will be facing a Jaguars defense that flies to the ball and is led by former Bills coach Gregg Williams?because of the matchups this should prove to be a very low scoring game?with the Bills having the edge in special teams but the Jaguars getting the nod because of the home field but this one should go down to the wire?so the PTS that the Bills are getting is a bonus?the Bills are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 games in Week 2?and 9-4-1 ATS in their last 14 overall.

NY-2?The Giants have had a few extra days to prepare for this one coming off of a Thursday night game and will be facing a Rams team that might be playing for the first overall pick in the draft before this season is out?the Giants are 6-2 ATS in the last 8 games in week #2 and 19-7 ATS in their last 26 road tilts?the Rams are 1-10 ATS in their last 11 games vs teams with a winning record.

The Titans are 11-5 ATS in their last 16 road games and come into Cincy with revenge on their mind after getting shellacked by the Bengals 35-6 last year coming off of a short work week after playing a Monday night game?the Bengals looked horrible in their opener last week and shouldn?t be favored in this one?having Kerry Collins under Center is a bonus for the Titans.

What was so weak about shutting out the Superbowl champions in the second half, on the road? And we get arguably one of the best corners in the NFL back this week.

The New Orleans Saints have ruled out four starters WR WR Marques Colston(thumb), SS Roman Harper (hamstring), SLB Scott Fujita (knee) and CB Randall Gay (hamstring/illness) for Week 2.

I knew about the Colston injury, but the others happened this week after I made the play.

I still like the Saints, but it would have been a small play if I were wagering today.

the Saints have been poor on the road FOREVER, and that hasn't changed lately. if i played this, it would be on the skins, but it's a no-play for me.

GL this weekend.

Good Luck to you as well Whitts!

The OLD Saints teams were always poor on the road...but since Drew Brees has arrived the Saints are 10-6 SU on the road...they are also 6-1 ATS in their last 7 road games versus teams with a losing record.

I loved this play right off the bat...but the Saints recent wave of injuries this week will make this one a lot closer in the end.

Kansas City Chiefs -3 over Raiders...Just a hunch the Raiders will go into the tank today...either that or they respond and take this one outright...Lane Kiffin could be toast if the Raiders come up short today.

3-1 on the day despite losing my Big Play of the Saints :spotting:

Even though I made some $$$ on the day, the Saints really cost me :mad: because they were the only losers in two parlays that I played one being a 4 gamer and one being a 5 game parlay.

5-3 on the year now for my Plays

3-1-1 on the year for my leans
