2) Tampa Bay -8.0 ( 2 units)
from a website:
It was Tampa Bay?s turn in Week 3 to beat St. Louis, and now Jon Gruden takes his act on the road to face a wobbly, winless team. The Bengals are turning the offensive reins over to QB Akili Smith, who deserves a shot after Gus Frerotte and Jon Kitna failed miserably. Despite a load of injuries on the Bucs? defense, Gruden will look for his offense and special teams to take flight on Sunday in this inter-conference matchup. If Tampa Bay limits Corey Dillon on the ground, it could be another long day for Bengals fans in the Queen City.
3) New England ML -185 ( 2 units)
sd will have the same start they did like last season..and then begin to fade....can they beat the PATS?
I don't think so...i just don't like the -3.5
This is the marquee matchup of the week. The Patriots will devise a scheme to discourage Drew Brees from taking too many chances in the passing game. However, the Bolts will not be able to win this game with LaDainian Tomlinson alone. Tom Brady has attempted more passes than any other QB in the NFL. While he might not need to hoist it 45 times this week, the Pats should control the clock and the tempo of the game with their staunch defense and grind-it-out ground game.
4) CAROLINA +7.0 vs the PACK ATTACK ( 1 unit)
While the Panthers are 3-0, they are coming off a 1-15 season. Lambeau Field is one of the most difficult stadiums to play in for an opposing team. The Packers are smarting after last week?s near disaster in Detroit and will come out with guns-a-blazin? on Sunday. RB Ahman Green should play this week, but he won?t be 100 percent. Still and all, don?t discount the Panthers. This won?t be a blowout. John Fox?s team plays very good defense, runs the ball well, and commits few turnovers.
