Well, not exactly the best start to week #7. A garbage pass from Sage Rosenfels :mj07: for 77 yards to Chris Chambers with two and a half minutes remaining sent this one over the total. Thought I had a half point winner when the Chiefs didn't score :cursin:
Some different plays for me this week. Have a few of the Wayne Root (my hero in the old days :mj07: ) "Don't make sense plays" (well, at least they don't make sense to me :mj14: )
How could anyone with even a partial brain take the Minnesota Vikings? With all the turmoil up north and the effectiveness of Brett lately all signs should clearly point to the Pack. Not so fast my friend. I liked the speed and power running of Moore for the vikes when they played the Bears. I think the Pack losing Davenport and getting Green back in their backfield is a step backwards. Give me the Perverts in the Dome +2

Detroit on the road?? If it was anyone but the Brownies my sanity would have me passing. I can almost envision Dilfer having an allstar performance against me but hold out with the weakest of hope that maybe Garcia will return for the Meowies and lead them to the cover. Wouldn't take them if they weren't getting the field goal(my safety cushion)
The Bears??? This makes no sense to all of us midwesterners who have come all too accustomed to the Bears on the short end of the score. In a pick 'em game, home field, the better defense, and a qb no worse than what the Ravens have in their line-up, I'll take the Monsters of the Midway :mj14:
I think the logical choice in the Seattle/Dallas match-up, based on last week's games would be the Alexander led Seahawks. The boys did not look good against the Giants last week and probably should have lost that game. Coupled with the question of Julius Jones playing behind Bledsoe would normallly find my wager on the team from the northwest. But we're not talking logic this week. I'll take the Boys +4.
My first play of the new week was the Bengals at home playing host to the Steelers. Put my wager in at Cinn with the pick. This play does make sense to me. Go figure :dizzy:
Expecting a give/take game with the Chargers and Eagles. Last team standing, or in this case with the ball, wins the game. If it's Philly, I hope it's with a field goal lead. Bolts +4
