Season Record 15-13 +2.25 units
Favorites 4-5 -1.55 units
Dogs 9-5 +4.55 units
Totals 1-2 -1.20 units
Halftimes 1-1 +0.45 units

Ravens didn't miss a beat in their offense with the running back by committee, they were still incompetent. But Billick has the patience to stick with the run (what other choice does he have) and Philly's just not big enough to take on a north-south rushing attack.

Baltimore +7.5 1 unit

Just like above, like having a better defense and a better running game. Favre's going to be forced to make some quick decisions and I'm not sure his hand will even be able to feel the ball.

Washington +1 1.5 units

Let's see the rook do it against the Pats D :nooo:

New England -3 1 unit

bobby...just a heads up.....ogden`s down...the back-up,ethan brooks is beyond bad...and he has a broken wrist to boot.....

no ogden, imo,in this ground oriented attack,is probably a worse case scenario than no jamal lewis.....because,as you said, chester taylor is a much more than capable back-up....actually,taylor is a damn good back....and gives the ravens the option to hit a back out of the backfield.....

the negative here is that the only raven off. lineman that can pull on screens and such was ogden...the rest are way to slow and immobile....and in brooks` case, the guy has no business in the nfl....

i think they get mike flynn back at center...that`s something...but that right tackle situation is horrible...

and no todd heap...

the ravens need big plays on special teams and defense....i`m sure that the eagles will look to take advantage of brooks in pass protection...if i know how bad he is,i`m sure they know...

but, absent ogden, the offense will probably sink to a new low....i fully expect brooks to give up more than one big sack and be the cause of at least one turnover.....

having said all that negative crap, the eagles should really suffer without westbrook...

the ravens have the ability on defense to stay in this one....actually,in any game......

still, they`ll have to score at least one t.d....

......with that defense there`s always a shot....

but,it won`t be easy..

best of luck,bud

gw,

Appreciate the info. The pulling sweep with the cutback won't be nearly as effective w/o Ogden, and it opens up his entire side of the line to blitz pressure, but this is the NFL. All these teams are pigs, but I think that Ravens will have some success up the gut, especially late.
