Harrington completing 70% of his passes and facing a Tennessee pass defense that is 22nd in the league. Atlanta seems to have settled down from their off-season problems and while Tennessee is gaining ground, anything over a TD is going to be tough for this team to cover

Atlanta +8.5 2 units

Did you know, that in the last 8 years, the Cardinals have been favored on the road 6 times? 0-4 ATS at home as a dog against 4-0 ATS.

St. Louis +3.5

What was lost last week in the 34 point 4th quarter is how soild the injured Bears defense was. They gave up 300 yards against Detroit on turf and kept everything in front of them all day. I expect Griese to look a bit better in the red zone and get the win.

Chicago +3.5 (-115) 2 units

also . . .

Miami +5
Detroit +3.5

Bye week came at the right time for the Saints. Two weeks can give New Orleans time to get a game plan for life with just Bush.

New Orleans -3 (-125)

Also . . .

Cleveland +16.5

San Diego's running game was effective last week against KC and they are playing a Denver front that's giving 5 per rush and is ranked last in the NFL. Desperation time for the Chargers and a nice matchup against Denver's undersized DEs.

San Diego -1 2 units

The most entertaining team in the league in need of a win. No need for the Ravens to overlook SF here as they s/b humbled by last week's performance

Baltimore -4
