not the greatest of weeks last week going (2-5) (-5.80 units) losing my best bet again and splitting my stong plays while going 1-3 in my regular plays

BEST BETS

tampa bay -6.5 vs detroit...............the only thing that scares me is how easy this looks. tampa off to a great start and i don't see the winning streak stopping at home vs detroit. detroit at home can surprise sometimes, but on the road is another story. this one is like free money.


STRONG PLAYS

new england -5.5 vs san diego...........i have seen alot of people on san diego this week. are the pats getting no respect all of a sudden. they went into pittsburgh last week and won didn't they? pats have dismantled plenty of good teams over the years at home, so getting them at less than a td is a pretty good deal to me. plus i don't think the chargers are as good as people think.

jets +7 vs baltimore............the jets are done, everybody says. well they are used to playing without pennington. i know their first and second string qb's are out, and i am not thrilled about vinny, but i cannot lay a td with this raven offense. the jets are hurt and people think their season is over. the nfl is a crazy game i would not not be shocked to see the jets win this game. should be a dull, low scoring game and if it is the seven points should come into play.

SUNDAY NIGHT GAME IN MEXICO

who cares!! arizona vs san fran...i might not even check the paper the next day to see who won this one.


MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

another not so great game. probably will play it as a regular play since it is monday night football. leaning to the pack, but will be back on monday with this one.

I don't think the TB game is free money, its not as easy as it looks. Tampa's 3 victories came from teams with a combined 2-7 record so far. Minny game was closer than it looked and minny looked awful. Bills starting basically a rookie QB, yeah its not tough to stop Willis McGahee with 8 in the box and the Packers, well they might be the worst team in football right now and had a chance to win, except for Favre's 2 int's in the 4th and a stalled drive inside the 15 with 4 mins to go.

Detroit is back to the heavy underdog role after getting beat up by Chicago in a game which they came out flat, thinking they were going to dominate and then ultimately just quit.

But GL with your pick

Just a side note, Vinny will not be starting for the Jets. Brooks Bollinger will be going. But like you said, the NFL is crazy. I'm not worried about the Ravens offense as much as the Jets. The Ravens D and special teams can put up 13-17pts alone. The Jets gameplan will consist of Curtis Martin and Derrick Blaylock getting most of the work load, short passes and field position.

An 0-2 Ravens team, coming off a bye, at home, playing against a clipboard QB. Smells funky and I just couldn't lay money on the jets.
