Notre Dame broke my heart again and I just don't have the energy to handicap. Taking the easy route and going with some home dogs and teams that I'm high on this year. Also Bears defensive backfield is either getting their first work of the season or just aren't very good and the Green Bay switchover to a 3-4 will take time and their preseason success is not an indication that the learning process is over.

Houston -4
Miami +4
Carolina +3(-125)
Tampa Bay +5
Cleveland +4
Bears/Packers over 47

Holy shit. Not only did ND break your heart but not capping broke your wallet. Sometimes in sports betting when you are really down take time to reflect for a few days and dont bet. Can save the soul and wallet big money. Sorry to see you get crushed. ND killed me too. They should have hammered that shit Michigan team. :sadwave:

I tend to remember specific games more than say an overall bad betting weekend.

No doubt that idiotic 'miracle' Denver win will be played over and over for seasons to come. Interestingly enough, the actual touchdown itself didnt affect the ATS for most gambers, unless you did what I did.

With Denver up at 3-0 halftime, I played my % and the value. My books ranged from this:

Cincy ML -190

-3 pt with inflated -140 juice to
-3' -120/125
-4 -110

Now being down 3, you cant justify paying 90 cent on top to get a FG. My other choices range from pushing an actual tie (this is fucking Denver/Cincy defense were talking here) to laying either 1/2 pt or a full pt.

I go with the cheapest option and take Cincy -4. Since they are down at the half, that makes MY line on the game Cincy -1. When they score with half a minute left and kick the XP, Im pushing.

Well, you know the rest. Amazingly close game ending INT, then triple coverage, tip ball, why is a LB this far back and watching Stokely run away into the endzone......

Really looking forward to them showing this all night during these MNF games and for every single time that Den and Cin play again for the next decade. MINIMUM.
