Lovie Smith always says that the Bears get off the bus running and will always be a run team while he's there. This turned out not to true last week when Benson started out at 10 yds/carry in his first 6 carries in the first quarter and ended the day with 11 carries for 89 yards. Much has been made this week of failing to rely on a run game that was obviously working last week and Benson will be given EVERY opportunity this week. Which is great for the Bears as they're playing the 30th ranked run defense in the NFL giving up almost 5 yds/carry. Denver's also coming off of a Monday nighter where they were out FD'd 28-15 while winning by 14.

Holmgren's record with Seattle on the road as a favorite is 8-17 and most of the time they had a running game and had a soliid run D. St. Louis won't be an offensive powerhouse, but they will have success with ball control.
