Pretty alarming defensive stats for a team that is supposed to be carried by there defense. The Bears knew that the Redskins were going to have to run and couldn't stop the Redskins. They didn't break, but they couldn't dominate. With the Bears breaking in a rookie free safety, the Bears defensive backs can't think run first as quickly as they normally due and for a team that doesn't keep their gaps, there is a risk for some long runs from Suggs.

And while the defense appears over-rated, I think that Orton will be a lot more effective at home. He looked good on third downs in obvious passing downs and it's time to take the training wheels off and see if he can be a starter. It's going to be much more of a risk/reward type of offense this week and, either way, this isn't the type of game that should have a 33 point total

Over 33 (-110) 2 units
Detroit +1 (-110) 1 unit

Speaking of defenses being out of position, the Vikings upgraded their defense in name recognition, but they've got to learn how to play better together. Again, a lot of scary results for a defense that was supposed to carry a team

Cincinnati -3 (-115) 1 unit

Also . . .
Atlanta +1 (-108)
Miami +5.5 (-110)
San Diego (+125)

All 1 unit
