Every week I wonder why SF even bothers throwing the ball...

You got Frank Gore - averaging the most per carry of anyone in the NFL.... and yet, they continue to try to throw the ball... and they end up throwing it much more often than Gore carries it...

Yes, Gore does fumble once in a while, I'll give you that. But he is one of the best players in the NFL with the ball in his hands....AND Alex Smith sure has his share of turnovers with all his INT's and Fumbles....

Today is a perfect example: at 1/2 time, Gore has over 100 yards on like 10 carries... Smith is like 4 for 15 throwing....

Last week, SF did all the trick play bullshit, instead of just rushing Gore against one of the NFL's worst rushing defenses...

It is time for Nolan to go. If that had a coach that actually LIKED to run the ball, this team would have a much better record. It's time for them to realize that Alex Smith stinks and they can't throw the ball.

Gore should get 30 carries a game... if he did, he'd probably average 175 yards rushing a game (instead of the 100 or so he gets now)....

Coach Nolan is a joke.

Agree 100%, Gore averaging almost 7 yards a carry and Smith is 9 of 25 passing with a pick, still plenty of time left, yet SF gets ball, pass, pass, pass, punt, return of 40 yards, Nolan is diggin his own grave...
