Darryl Sutter should win the Jack Adams but it should be close. Both Tortorella and Ron Wilson have also done a terrific job with their respective (more talented) teams but what Sutter did with this Calagry team during the season is simply outstanding. And now everybody can see it.

Before he was fired, Rick Dudley (former Panthers GM) was asked what he thought about Roberto Luongo's nomination for the Vezina trophy and he simply responded that according to some people directly or inderectly related to the Vezina trophy, "he should have it". At that time you could bet on Luongo at odds +400. Now it's down to -200 but I think it still worths a shot. When an eastern conference player is asked "which goalie is the toughest to beat" he'll respond "Roberto Luongo" more then any other name, including Martin Brodeur - well at least for this year. Mikka Kiprussoff has had an outstanding season also but he missed too many games to be fully considered. Luongo is the right pick.

As for the Norris trophy well I have no idea why Scott Niedermayer is the less rated of the 3 here. My money definitely is on Scott Niedermayer and here's an article that resumes the reasons why he should win it: Niedermayer for Norris
